It's a cool concept but in practice I find myself missing 90% of my shots without the take aim buff (ranged unit behind melee so they don't get swarmed + firing at "long range" debuff is massive) and, if that's used then it's just a weaker version of the current magelock rifle

Forgot to suggest to give the Repeater Units at least optional mounts tag since you made it so heroes can use mounts with the Repeater

A group of modders made a modded tome pack called Tomes of Discipline (i'm sure i spelled that wrong) which adds a gunpowder tome that adds Magelock Infantry that evolves and both version look different from the Reaver Culture. You can look at those for future reference if needed

You could take in-game assets and mix them for a new look, different helmet, armor, etc. Might combine some bits and bobs, too.

I agree, that would be really cool! Unfortunately I don't know how create 3D models myself

The Repeater needs a new model to avoid confusion, but not a bad idea!
