This is a massive improvement over vanilla haunting, checkpoints are faster and enemy types are more varied.

The new enemies are all good, though the Onis annoyed me on a few melee playthroughs due to how good they are at blocking.

The Shimmer is a cool idea, though there could be less of them in the stage. I've had multiple instances where I was worried the stage was broken because shimmers were chilling in random corners rather than engaging with me.

Phobia is pretty much unkillable with guns, but the big scary scythe makes melee seem like a bad idea. This might be an artistic "you have to overcome fear to kill this guy who is the embodiment of fear" sort of thing, though I understand why people might initially think he's impossible.

Why doesn't the mod work, not only this one but also others, namely those that change enemies and waves in locations. I have a huge collection of mods and I want to know if this mod can conflict with others or if I need to run this mod for it to work?

i always felt a grudge against haunted house, how slow it was despite the enemies being easy to deal with, and the reward you get for beating it is basically nothing. This TOTALLY fixes the issue! my only problem is that phobia is trying WAY to hard on a dude that still has only 3 corpus blocks.

when attempting to do endless on haunting no enemies come and the wave never starts, I end up having to just restart from the beginning :(

i dont know how modding works but if its possible can someone PLEASE make smiler an origin? hes so unique

hated the haunted house before, Now i definitely love it, 10/10 mod.

The mod that made HoNH good. I personally liked the fact that the waves are sorted (Waves 1-2: Undead, aka. Zeds, Swamp Zeds and Skeletons. Waves 3-4: Freaks, aka. the toothed bois. Waves 5-6: Ghosts, aka. Onis, Screamers, etc) Mistake being a difficult boss could be intentional, since you have to think in this game from time to time instead of spamming. Even the Demoniac Hobos didn't make me annoyed, since I had fun already. Rating: 9/10, This arena became fun

The mod works just fine and the enemies are all fun to fight! However, I noticed that when going through the first few waves (as in completing the arena for the first time in a playthrough)... the amount of XP you get suddenly all goes down to 0 as if you died. Does this happen for anyone else?

Chat i figured the strat, get grenades, summon reinforcements and wait for phobia to hug them and just toss them all

Great mod, but Phobia is just very annoying to fight since one mistake = stunlock

Throwables seems worthless too, might try using grenades since those are the only ones i haven't tested on it

How am I supposed to beat Phobia?
I use mainly guns and they block 99% of my shots which eh if that was its only gimmick then cool, but even when I drop my gun and start swinging my fists they just teleport away, and god forbid I get hit by the scythe since you usually just get stunlocked to death when you do.

and how do you think I should kill an over-buffed boss, who has an endless tac-bar, and it’s not clear what to kill with :)

Big mistake is too OP. that thing easily tank everything and kill you in couple.

The Shimmers are some cheeky cowards, but the whole point of their role is to play defensively. Even with their cloak, you can see the angry face above them before they launch their attack, giving you time to dodge it or break their charge. If you fear there's a shimmer lying in wait around the corner, the secret passages are the best ways to get the drop on them.

just saying, invisible enemies ARE NOT FUN TO FIGHT, it would be one thing if they actively seek out the player, but most just stood outside where the carnage is and wait for you to come to them and proceed to knock you over and run away like a b***h, just bring back the big red viking ghost

Literally cannot tell if this mod is what's causing this, but Haunting is now actually impossible for me half the time. Some Zombie Spawns are outside the map, and they aren't smart enough to wander in, so they just keep bumping up against the wall and are left in the space between the house itself, and the small slip outside where the Daemonics try breaking in.

This is the hardest mod i played and I love it
