Just wanted to say thanks so much to GrizzlyOne and ssuser for your work porting this! ♥ I've now completed LOTG on Redux and it's been a blast. I haven't played this mod for probably twenty years, back on BZ1.4. Most of it was familiar but it's been so long I couldn't remember everything or identify all the changes. I'm sure you have made it more intense (or I have got older and slower at games!). Love the new textures. Whatever you changed I approve.
First of all, I've been having a blast with this campaign. The missions are very fun, and while there is room for improvement, I can't complain at all (although the Golem spam gets old after a while).
I've noticed a few things while playing it:
First, there are a few typos in the unit descriptions, objectives, and so on.
Here are two of them if you want to check them out: https://imgur.com/a/w7BGTVH
Also, I encountered a bug on the first CCA mission. I equipped a tank with the Slammer weapon, and the game crashed immediately after firing. If my experience with modding weapons is of any help, that's a problem I usually encountered when the ordnance fired had some errors.
Anyways, I'll keep an eye out for anything else I find. Great job, 10/10
Hadley said he was going to port LOTG, I am guessing he maybe did a few missions, hit the models and Callisto part, and quit.
He said on his site he always meant to port it to Steam someday, but he never did.
