I didn't enjoy this stage as much as other members of the NEM legacy pack, but I will chalk this up to the murder room being a fundamentally bad stage. I do not think it is possible to make it enjoyable without majorly reworking or removing the death pits, given the miles long list of bad interactions they have.

Rating this stage against the vanilla murder room, it is miles better. It isn't a slog through a million nonthreatening enemies who only exist to annoy you with the stage gimmick and waste your time. I do have a few enemies I don't like in the boe lineup, like the captain boe and long boe, but I would attribute that to the stage. Getting ragdolled or stunlocked can be an instant death sentence because of the stupid pits, and if they were on any other stage they would be fine.

i think this may have permanetly fucked my modded arena.
i've disabled, uninstaled, replaced with a different mod, swaped out of the release beta checked that it's the murder room again(it is) but when back to the release beta it's the BOE CHALLANGE!
i'm att a loss and questioning if this is malware.

@ThatOneNecoArc Only a few of them use those controllers. The Long boes are not one of them.

Making the boes have bot controllers make's the long boe able to instantly shoot not a great time.

Now i been wanting to ask this... what on earth is a BOE?

I see, also thank you for fixing the corpus sprites too. well i simply didnt know as the hungry trait is only otherly used on the massive, i thank you for the info. also suggestion, add a brute boe that focuses around unarmed and switches out the hungry trait for sturdy, also a different look would be nice too, bonus points if you make the blood & corpus darker.

You're confusing that with the Sturdy trait; that's the one that forces strength and endurance. The Hungry trait can work without it, and leads to some fun scenarios.

Also, i am unable to tell if this is a bug or not, but the hungry trait does not work like the one on the massive, since you arent forced to add to dex or str.

And the corpus sprites themselves are very strange too, only a border that matches their blood color, maybe see if that can be fixed? i've seen it in the origins revamped where agent got something similar. i believe you can get into contact with the person whom made the sprites in that mod, the corpus sprites having blue blood cells that spell the word boe could be unique.

Suffers from the same issues as the nem version, aka, infinite encumbrance & no corpus repair. seems like a direct import from the enemy version from nem.
