So I got it right. Perhaps, edit description so it's more clear? Though it's kinda in spirit of the game to not explain every mechanic of something for player to figure out

Pointing left or right adds to the "key" that you input to get back to that waypoint.
Each heartbeat indicates adding a step in either direction.
Pointing down actually creates the waypoint with that key attached to it, so left-right-right-down would make waypoint that you can teleport to by doing left-right-right-down again.

I don't really understand how to set and teleport to waypoints. Do you "code" waypoint via pointing to a side and waiting for a heartbeat? So left would be one waypoint, right would be another, and left-right-left would be third?
