of course racist are down voting this, interesting how agot+ added all hotd show dna but for some reason kept house Velaryon white instead of keeping with the show change, glad this exists.

Cheers. Personally as someone who's black, HOTD making the Velaryon's black or mixed was up there for the best changes to Fire & Blood.

Idk why but it's not working well for me. Already tried with just the AGOT mod and it keeps the same effect.

My first generation has a really dark brown skin but the next one already comes with light brown or white skin and it turns totally white in the next generations. It only works correctly with AGOT+ and the AGOT+ compatible version.

Do you know what could be causing this?

@xane_mil It's because the way that dragons are implemented changes the DNA of every character by introducing new genes. I hope to have it sorted in a few hours. I'd started, but life calls.

Looks like some DNA gets transfered to other houses like Cragas Drahar gets Corlys DNA, in another bookmark the Darklyns get Corlys DNA, some turn red lol

@aimlis @James You are welcome. It does make it easier and I am sure that is part of the reason the show made this decision. I know viewers who can't tell Daemon and Aemond apart. I expected hate but I do not care about them.

Thank you for this! I don't understand the hate. This makes them more visually interesting. And in the show, it makes it easier to set characters apart, it is hard enough to track who is who in HOTD given the actor changes and white hair.

@Woodyjr96 I have tried, but to be honest with you I am not sure that it can be fixed. So far, it appears that the DNA generated and saved during a game overrides mod DNA. So, if you load vanilla and save the game, the DNA string that is saved is what it reads instead of the mod. What it does read from the mod is the hair because that is set separately. So you'll get vanilla complexion/features Corlys with HOTD hair. If I am able to change this, I will say in the notes at the top. I intend to make the whole mod go under a game rule at some point; I am not sure if this will help or not.

@Milsugione I was thinking about that myself. I agree that it's repetitive but some of them look weird with the other types of hair. The ideal would be more vanilla options but since there aren't, I will make some changes.

@IX Avdacity they are in the main mod, where they have always been. It seems you have never played AGOT before. You should try that first.

To be fair, the main mod is lore accurate to the books, where Velaryons are identical to Targaryens (except for the Strongs, of course). However, if the main mod wanted to add this as a game rule or such they are welcome to it.
