Hey Tissues, I'm just curious how the unit only has such a low horsepower rating. I think electrics as a rule of thumb have about 50% more horsepower per tonne as a diesel :)

I may be stupid but I dont see the unit in game. Its activated, I do not find it under the elecctrics or under the electrics mu tab ... did I miss something? The other needed mods are installed and activated.

Wait till Blast learns diesel ELECTRIC locomotives are just electric locomotives that carry a generator, making them less efficient and effective than real electrics. Little Joes & GG1s & W1s all the others like them put any and all diesel traction to shame.

Doing an electric-only save RN, these will be added to the mix eventually. Love it, keep it up.

The comment below me is mega soy pilled. North America had fully electrified freight mainlines going long distances through remote areas. It was done before and can be done again.

While I admire and respect your work, I firmly believe that fully electric North American freight locomotives are an abomination and must be proclaimed to the world as such. If one absolutely has to abandon a diesel engine, then the only kind of American electric freight loco that is worthy of respect is one that carries its own nuclear reactor to power it.

Is this multiple unit or single unit (If single how many different road numbers are there?) Looks pretty cool
