I second for speed multiplier, or at least make the speed in space adjusted. I am using SOS2 and Odyssey, the bots fly super slow in vacuum space

@GULÉ I'm not in a position to test this right now, but it looks like you also have Vanilla Factions Expanded - Empire installed as well. The error seems to be something attempting to give a Royalty Title to a robot. VFEE also seems to make quite a few changes to the Title system; perhaps it also makes changes to the logic at fault? Either way, this is an issue that hasn't been reported previously, so it is most likely a mod conflict. Let me know if you're unable to resolve this issue with a little experimentation.

@JuanCena it does work (for me, at least) you just need recall all your bots before launching bc they keep doing their tasks instead of being notified of the launch. Launch checks that all colonists and colony animals are on board before continuing, and I'm guessing it checks for bots as well.

Breaks 1.6, Gravship won't launch with this mod enabled. All other gameplay works, but your gravship wont initialize taking off...your minions just stand...waiting. If you manually try to set waypoint, the 'NEXT' button doesn't appear to go to the launch sequence.

I like how you gave us the config window, it helps a lot... but it's quite imprecise as it is right now, with only the sliders and no speed multiplier. Can you add a SPEED multiplier and fields for us to TYPE the exact numbers we want, please? An acceleration multiplier would be super fun also, but that's just a pipe dream hahaha

Can you please fix or rend as an option to have the omnis not run back and forth over the map to remove floor but to do what's closest? Would save them alot of time. Thanks

I want to specify the robot to create when using the restriction function of the workbench, but the previous option excludes the robot, resulting in no one being assigned to create. Could the robot be included in the DLC mechanical faction?

Seems like sometimes Robots won't do jobs that are available unless you deactivate/reactivate them. Awkward when you have an Emergency bot that won't automatically rescue/tend to people without being told, and instead just sits at the base.

Healing bots, I have found that repairing damaged parts does decent job, but if they are missing entire limbs/parts, just kill them and rebuild via the repair bot function.

Alright well it took both of my bots about a quandrum to finish repairing, one only had very minor damage while the other had severe. Is it intentional for bots to take so long to repair regardless of damage?

I set two of my bots to repair, however they have been repairing for about a week and a half ingame now, do robots just have ridiculously long repair times or is it bugged?

Started a Colony, researched all the way to Anti Logic, placed down my bots, continued playing, saved, shut down. Restarted and I am greeted with this error. Not sure if it's this Mod, or the Original that is tossing it, so, here you go as well.

Yeah I'm having a weird issue when researching "Robotics: Advanced Logic". Happened on 2 separate saves where it stops around 2075 progress left and stops research happening.

hey so it could be because im using the nice bill tab mod but for the crafting robots i cant seem to set for only them to work on something im crafting.

@cabmoomoo I appreciate the troubleshooting effort for sure - with no action on my end, it seems to have cleared up, I'm assuming it may have potentially been something placed within the save I was on that causing an issue, it just sort of stopped yesterday and hasn't appeared again. I'm a bit at a loss here, if it happens again I'll see if I can pinpoint what it was. Thanks for the help again.

Oh, i see, i found it out myself, after exploring your mod. Instead of V i just replace it with ALL
from RPP_Research_Omni_V to RPP_Research_Omni_All .
Bug solved - I feel midly embarresed i didn't realize it was my own mod. But it's all good and solved now :D

I'm happy my phone has a good camera, no need to pay attention to which mods i mass-disable
All i need to do is just disable a slew of mods until the error vanishes, then slowly rename those mods on that particular "list" until the error reappears. It's slow, but i love Misc robots to much to anything else. cause i'm at a loss as to what mod causes this.

Okay, searching that, yielded 100% ZERO pings beyond this mod in particular.
So that was a dud.

No idea what else to do... I really can't think of which mod it could be...
I'll keep looking, but i have really no dang clue...

I'm going to try and use notepad++ and search "RPP_Research_Omni_V" in all the files of my workshop folder, it'll take 30 minutes or so.

While i only play with 120~ mods, i have subbed to maybe.. 300? (I need to unsub to a lot of the outdated ones... to lazy tho. (90~ are basically GoL mods or Performance mods. 15~ are cheat mods and the rest are mods that adds new content.)

I'll report back with my finding once i get a ping ;)

@Copper Boltwire Looks like something is playing with research. For some reason, something is looking for a research project specific to the Tier 5 Omni Bot, which isn't how the research has worked in nearly a year. Could be another mod with an outdated patch for this one, though I'm not sure what research project would want to tie itself to the Omni V. I'm also not familiar with a mod called "Statis Quality", would you be able to provide a link?

@AaronxRegen Sorry this is taking so much to troubleshoot. It seems you have a scenario that is similar in log output to the one I fixed, but not quite the same root problem. Would you be able to pastebin you mod list? If you save the mod list in the game mod menu, the file for that list will be located in the same area as your save files - you might need to google where that is based on your OS.

@Tobi In this mod alone, no, there is no other solution. I can, however, point you in the direction of the WorkTab mod, and the Misc Robots Worktab Support patch mod. Those should give you the tools you seek.

Thanks, I identified the issue as a conflict with the mod [FSF] Complex Jobs that was altering job assignment in a way incompatible with Misc. Robots++

I have an Omni (I) robot, is there any way to restrict what jobs it does besides zone restrictions? E.g. to prevent him from butchering when I have pawns with much higher yield?

@AaronxRegen The error that shows up at the start is the root cause of your issues, and is supposed to have been fixed in the Jul 16 @ 8:07am EST update. A few users with similar issues have reported that forcing the mod to update solves the problem. You can try deleting the steamapps/workshop/content/294100/3253308913 folder, unsubscribing, and resubscribing to force Steam to download the most recent version. Give that a try (if you haven't already) and let me know if you're still experiencing that issue.

@kurikinton Omni Bots should be able to firefight just fine - that error means something else may be disabling that ability in an unexpected way. Do you have any other mods installed that might mess with the firefighting job or logic?

I'm experiencing a bug where I'm able to craft the bots (Omni 5 in my case) but activating them does nothing. They don't respond and remain in their stations.

@cabmoomoo I have both odyssey and VFE. The error only pops when the robots are activated and are working - if they're on the base, they're obviously not looking for work. I've tried disabling VFE, but the error persists.

It's ok. Although these bugs exist, your mod is still excellent. I have tried using other mods to solve the problems caused by these bugs.:steamthumbsup:

@AaronxRegen That's... an interesting one. I'm not certain that's related to the recent updates, as those would have gotten caught by a different error message shortly after save load. The stack trace you provided is very useful, but the error itself could also be. It should start with "Error in WorkGiver:" with some more stuff after that. Also, are you running Odyssey and/or Vanilla Fishing Expanded? Your specific combination of those might be important.

@XXFQ007 Could you make sure you have the most recent version of the mod? There has been 2 updates on July 16, and I cannot currently replicate your issue. You can try unsubscribing, waiting a few moments, and then resubscribing to force an update.

@Sans Doing a quick test, I can see what you mean with the roofs. Unfortunately this is likely related to an already reported Issue [github.com] that will not be getting fixed. TL;DR: At some point, it seems the base game changed the way it looks for some jobs for non-colonists, and that has resulted in an unpredictable, noticeable and even quite miserable performance decrease for several job types. Fixing it would likely require a near-complete rewrite to the base mod to go from original concept to Biotech mechs extension, and I don't see that ever happening. I apologize that I cannot provide a more satisfactory response.

@XXFQ007 idk, but I already have these problems since I subscribe this mod 2 days ago. I'm not sure what really cause the problems, I merely pointed out the most likely cause for my current situation. I have force-deleted and downloaded all my mods today but didn't fix it.

I'm sure it's not cause by Odyseey, because before July 16 mod update , it works fine.
