It's that time again. I do not support the beta, but do try the mod in the new version and let me know how it goes. I will update the mods as soon as is feasible after the full release.

I don't know off the top of my head as I don't use VE Highmate, but I don't recall hearing about anything that would interfere with it. give it a try and let me know if it breaks.

I've only tested it with a doctor present, don't know if that has anything to do with it - but, if the error occurs no baby is generated at all. everyone acts like nothing happened. the mother doesn't even have postpartum exhaustion.

update fixing that crash should go live in a moment

I've not changed anything recently beyond what was required to port this to the new version of RimWorld.

Does the child still generate as the correct gender with a plausible body type? Based on the error, I could see any new pawn generation causing this sort of issue. I'll do some testing when I have a moment and see if I can replicate it.

hi there. i think the last patch may have broke something. i suddenly get errors half the time a child is birthed. i'm not gonna pretend that i understand how the mod works, but since its about 50% of the time it may be every time a baby rolls the opposite sex the gene allows. apparently its a sudden conflict with JacsTools, if i read the logs right. started a couple of days ago on an ongoing colony.

I haven't looked at the specific implementation of their solution, but they appear to do roughly the same thing.

If you have alpha genes and can reasonably obtain their male/female gene, you probably don't need this mod. This just comes with a lot less extra baggage.

Is there any difference between this and the alpha genes male/female genes?
