thought it also had customization options like the original turret mod but was sadly disappointed, I really like the variety in the prefabs though

You could make the turret be 2 models, one that is the visual model, and an attached custom model with the attachment point, the location of the custom model could be bounding box's furthest point on forward direction, and angle be just forward of the model, if you can't create a custom trace

If you want stat customization just use the original turret tool. They are not mutually exclusive. This tool's purpose is exactly to limit what kind of turrets you can use (along with adding unique ones, but that's just a bonus) so vehicle combat is more balanced

i dont see a reason to disable stat customization in singleplayer tbh. the stat nerf is only good for multiplayer servers.
