Can this be used, and modified to specifically target say, high valyrians in agot? The only ones that should exist/ever spawn are those in the lore houses and or a custom ruler/adventurer. If this would nuke them from spawning that'd be fantastic?

i have been useing this mod along side the "born of this land" and that one deletes all RNG NPC in the game, or, martians without parents and who have no kids. so no more guests and courtor spawn @ray i think the 2 go together pretty good. i load this mod first because idk if any files conflict, and my game seems stable

@Milsugione considering it kills of lowborns I’m sure some important characters die off. Haven’t used it yet though

Any way to reduce or control courtiers and guests spawning into your court though?

I know the max and min values for guests and courtiers appearing are in the 00_defines file and tied to the title rank, but defines values can't directly be changed in the scripted effects as far as I know. But there has got to be a way to get some control or filter for it; dismissing them manually all the time is tedious, when they respawn right away and for my current secluded Valinor-style island-utopia run with elves and maiar it just doesnt make sense to let in npcs with vengeful or murderer traits etc. into court all the time.

@Darkwing Phoenix: my mod specificaly targets lowborn or event spawned noble npcs whom have no relationships, no jobs. Whereas pop control just nukes characters far away from your area. Either works differently.

I’ve got this weird thing where every time I pin a commoner, they die in a minute. Think a population cap mod like this might help me with that?

great mod. i had done a similar mod once but didn't reach such a completeness when i found they ceaselessly spawn guests to fill courtiers gap of numbers. it feels so good to see when i marry someone all the candidates are noble instead of no one coming from nowhere.

If you put it before agot, it will be compatible and lose some minor features but will cut down on courtier numberd

Added a custom script triggering when NPCs gain/lose/inherit titles, culling most lowborn NPCs with no ties to the world. A max 10 NPCs were generated everytime a title change occured. Players not affected. May negatively impact early game/newly established AI realms, they rely mostly on lowborn RNG NPC councilors. Starting in 1066, total world NPCS in 1200AD was 24000 instead of 30000. So mission accomplished.

Amazing Mod, however, the Nobles are not giving out titles no matter the circumstances, case in point using only this mod, play whatever character and keep a closer look at Lusatia, the Duke starts way above his limit and unless he has sons he never ever lands anyone, even thought he quickly has -70% reduced everything due to domain restrictions.

FYI, the spelling should be "Fewer generated courtiers".
"Less Generated" implies the courtiers are more hand-picked, rather than "generated".

Can you remove the guest wanderer, close the gate like ck2, only use the decision not auto refresh guest

mod now has edited ai title giving logic so they dont give titles to RNG lowborns, you may see AI over the domain limit. may gimp the ai but rulers will always be real chars and way less courtiers are generated.
