You can use the Fall of Europe mod without Glob. Glob just adds more vehicles for the Soviets. New Wave inst needed as Jamie's basics has the US gear in it.

Completely unrealistic. Nazi Germany would have destroyed Russia and Russia would have fallen without massive help from the US and other allies. Russia then and especially Russia today is a dwarf in comparison to NATO. 1400% less economic power and much less military power. NATO has 6 million soldiers (3 million active, 3 million reservists) plus 700,000 paras, plus 22,000 fighter jets and so on. Even together with China it would hardly be a positive outcome for Russia nor China.

maps are far out of my reach. But hey, if an experienced terrain maker reads this, Fulda Gap is a great idea.

Map? A high-fidelity "Fulda Gap" terrain is something really missing for a cold war scenario. If you really want to create one. Otherwise, Ruha or Rosche are both kind of terrains fitting in the vibe. Obviously, Weferlingen is the first choice as you use GM DLC anyway.
