I released another helmet crafting pass to make it consistent with the vanilla flak helmet recipe (added 10 plasteel cost for all helmets) and swapped the synthread requirement for cloth and increased cloth cost to 5.

I'll update the graphic to reflect these changes later.

I think cloth would be friendlier, synth thread is a bitch and a half to get, but having it be mostly plasteel would still make it balanced imo

I released an update to 1.6 and reduced the synthread requirement of all helmets to 3 synthread. Oops on me for being so reliant on recycling mods that I legitimately forgot how rare synthread is in vanilla.

If this is still not optimal, I might opt further reduce the cost or replace the synthread requirement to cloth.

Can we remove the synthread requirement?

@Russian bongocat I have not tested this mod with any combat overhauls as this mod is made with vanilla in mind. Going by the (reuploaded) mod page description, there shouldn't be any compatibility issues.

does it work with yayos combat 3?

@Macaron Yes. You'll get a one-time error popup when you load a save that had the mod before disabling. You can safely ignore the error and carry on.

It does not have a better armor rating. Both have a base armor rating of 100% currently. That was my point.

Look at your mod again. The combat vest is like Vanilla flak vest, but so much worse, as it covers only the torso. The vanilla flak vest has the same armor value but protects the neck and some other areas as well.
