Vanilla Framework changed the namespace for VCE's thought_hediff_extension from 'VanillaCookingExpanded' to 'VEF.Cooking' . Lines 36 and 47 in the patch file VCExpanded.xml need to be changed to reflect this:

from

[36]<thoughtClass>VanillaCookingExpanded.Thought_Hediff</thoughtClass>
[47]<li Class="VanillaCookingExpanded.Thought_Hediff_Extension">

to

[36]<thoughtClass>VEF.Cooking.Thought_Hediff</thoughtClass>
