honestly i can't wait for more custom jazztronaut hubs as the possibilities seem endless
like i'm imagining custom hubs based in gm_construct, tf2 maps, etc. just because the idea of the cats using these maps as other bars/bases is cool

very cool map, love all the details added and how you can go to other parts of the map usually only used in the cutscenes, the addition of the other cat skins you made was a cool touch as well! im glad to see people are still making stuff for jazztronauts, good work on this man :demoticon:

I put the FGD in Hammer but when I open the default hub, pretty much every custom texture and entities are in error, is there a way to fix that ?

You’d create one the same was as you make any other map, there’s no real rules to follow in terms of layout. You need specific entities for it to work. You can find all of them in the official FGD provided with the GitHub download of jazztronuats.

It’s not hard at all IMO. You can always look at jazz_hub (also provided with GitHub) to see how something was done.

Probably a stupid question but, how do you create a custom jazz hub ? And is it hard ? I'm quite curious and I want to try to make a simple one just for fun !

Also yeah unfortunately I wanted to add bunks and the likes, but I didn't have any reasonable area to place it (This was made before the addition of customizable cutscene locations) so the map is quite close to cutscene room locations. I could definitely go back and update this map with all the new stuff, including maybe just making a custom Mewseum (Since the official ones seems to love to crash my Hammer when I paste it into my map)

All in all, I might be making a new hub before this one gets an update.

The glass part is a joke :) there isn’t supposed to be glass lol. The rest though, thanks for the report.

Some other issues:
Floor texture is misaligned in the circular hallway that contains the doors for the Mewseum and Apartments.
The 'de_ancient' exhibit mentions 'do not tap on the glass' however there is no glass surrounding it.

Just used the map and I have to say I love the vibe! Wish there were more rooms (I'd love a cozy player 'bunk room' in the apartments, for instance!) but id like to also report a few things missing from the map compared to the latest GitHub builds, namely:
The Mewseum is out of date, lacking NPCs and furnishings in their pens. The screens are also misaligned, and the surfing structure is untextured unlike the latest jazz_bar map. It also does not disarm you when leaving letting you keep the complimentary crowbar, this is not possible in jazz_bar.

If you use the Github build (i should specify, The fork called 'sceneroots' because the description forgets too.) you'll need all players to install the GitHub build of Jazztronauts. The map can be downloaded via workshop for all players.

@kitsufae Yep, it sucks unfortunately but as of right now.. Maybe forever? But cutscene locations are hardcoded into scripts, instead of set through something like Hammer Editor
