Make sure you use "Large Railgun Sabots", the conveyor sorter is set up, and the turret is assembled correctly.
So you have the base, the mid rotating section, and the head.
You'll need to break it up in it's 3 subgrid parts, make a blueprint of each, and then assemble it using a ship to lift the parts into place.
If it still doesn't work, feel free to message me on discord (Alrunes) and we can use screenshots.
I can't think of any reason why it wouldn't work tbh
I was able to paste it into any of my worlds without issue.
So check out event controllers 1-4 of the turret to see how it's set up.
But short summary:
"Event controller 1" checks for "Railgun 1"s charge. (Set to "equal or greater than) 100%
Slot 1 turns "Railgun 1" off, slot 2 turns on "Railgun 2".
Chain this for as many as you need.
Then, for the final event controller, check charge for ALL railguns, turn on "And" and have it turn off all railguns on trigger, but turn on "Railgun 1".
That resets the salvo chain.
