mules are infertile (no female caste). i don't think it breaks anything, but it does spit out an error in the log.

Random update, found some evidence that suggests someone else tried this before, as a small bit of info confirming this works was added to the DF Wiki page on Gelding earlier this year (Jan 2024) so I just wanted to mention that since I was originally unaware of anyone trying this before and couldn't find any similar mods on the workshop.

Just want to leave an update, I am as sure as I can be from my own tests, that there are no side effects or bugs. World gen happens fine, Animals keep breeding as normal, Gelded animals stop breeding, etc. I am now several decades through in a few different worlds having gone through the motions and set up various test scenarios.
