I was rather surprised to see this bug report, since as I mentioned above, I rewrote the core algorithm from scratch, and the code that caused the original "Infinity" bug is long gone. However, thanks to your detailed explanation, it wasn't hard to find and fix the new bug.
Not surprisingly, both bugs were due to expressions that could result in division by zero under certain circumstances. In the previous case, this happened any time the game was running before the first ascension. I fixed this, and I thought I was all set, as the mod continued to work fine after the first ascension as well. Unfortunately, in the first run, I didn't run it until the first prestige point was earned, which is exactly when the mod always failed. It's fixed now, and the mod works properly under all circumstances I can think of.
