At the expense of sounding repetitive; I gauge what outfits are less used primarily by the outfits less commonly obtained (+ other factors). I can't confidently say either way that there are a lot of people who wear the ninja set (as vanity), so I'll note your suggestion down.
Once again, I'm not sure if I'll ever get to that extent of characters but I appreciate the hypothetical suggestion.

**Conceptual, tentative** list of armor sets to characters (Tentative as in specific armor to specific character and if I ever get to making the character):
* Shadewood - Past Geto
* Ash Wood - Sukuna
* Pumpkin - Yuji (joke about MC here)

in terms of pre-hardmode wood and similar armor sets that leaves:
* Rich Mahogany
* Boreal Wood
* Cactus
* Pumpkin

High likelyhood I'll have to nitpick and find most convenient pre-hardmode vanity outfits, and depending on how much I nitpick, plausible it reaches into hardmode gear.
My criteria is something like:
* Not from Travelling Merchant
* Preferabbly Pre-hardmode
* Optimally un/common item (low chance of drop is the main issue)
* Crafttable is convenient
^ That filters out a good chunk of the selection but I'll have future me figure that out.

That would have been neat in retrospect. Now I'm tempted to switch the Toji outfit to Boreal wood and have Sukuna as Ebonwood. At the same time, doing it post-release after people subscribe to the mod sounds inconveniencing and my main priority is convenience first than optimal armor selections.
