And isn't it also true that there are large facilities that both receive and dispatch aggregate? The structural difference is obvious, but somehow I always thought that, in most cases, a single dual-function center is built...

But back to the game—by the way, there's a small problem: neither the train loader nor unloader appears in any of the aggregates sections—only in the modded buildings... Maybe it's because they are two-in-one?

Sorry, but I don't agree here, I worked for 5 years on the railway and in reality it is impossible to make a loading/unloading platform for bulk cargo, only separate ones, because loading can be done from the top of wagon, but unloading goes down if it's a hopper wagon or sideways if it's a dumpcar wagon or by turning the wagon over if unloading speed is needed

oh, that's great news thank you :) so its for both unloadibg and loading? This is a great idea! The division into loading and unloading stations for larger structures always seemed to me to be unnecessarily forced and not reflecting reality. :)

yep, sometimes it can be a problem, if you connect storrage without engine- it can have low speed, for my goals i just increased engine speed and cost, and currently i just use 20x custom, and another building not needed for me ^)

And speaking of unloading stations, mayby there are any chance for you to create 6 or 8 track aggregate loading/unloading station :) I'm looking for such a thing for a while, it would be really easier to transport heavy loads :)


Oh, and, If you're looking for inpiration, and you would like to do something (I think) really fast, easy and quite usefull mayby you could create big simple garbage dump with few sizes, magazine connections and 6 or 8 vehicle loading/unloading station? Something like "big garbage dumps" from robs074, but way much more spacious and for many waste trucks. Like in real life - real dumps are huuuge and lasts for YEARS of storage, since for example in 80s nobody cared about recycling :) And I think that creating such dumps should be fast and easy for somebody who knows how into :)

but not simple aggregate storage with standard conveyer? There will be big difference, since I've found just recently, that, for example, havily modded mine with thousents of workers can gain speed up to 7k tones par day, but must be attached directly to storage, since It would be needed around three (also havily modded xD) heavy duty conveyer engines to reach it's speed. And with, even havilly modded, conveyer engines, it's simply slowed down.

yes, VEHICLE_UNLOAD_FACTOR can help and change the unloading speed, I have already tested it and the speed has increased significantly, I think in two days I will be able to make a new version of the mod, I use containers to a minimum, only for transporting garbage, since it is difficult to organize railway transport through delivery offices

aggregate customs and general absorb everything through connections, but selling through connections is impossible, (that is, you can sell but you cannot buy)

Oh and one more thing - how does aggregate attacher works? Now I'm in the beggining of game, so i cannot try by myself :) Can I plug there big aggregate unlading station and it will simplu work? Or I have to attach here some kind of conveyer engine? And same to warehouse connection - will it simply eat anything that I'll unload to the attached warehouse? It could be much faster and no as silly as packing steel into containers:)

You think, that VEHICLE_UNLOAD_FACTOR will affect customs house? I doubt it... The only answear I found out was large container loading facilty - I've modded it to hire 3721 workers and finally got rid of my steel as fast as i made it :) Funny thing - it was 1000workers producing steel and almost 4k of those putting that steel into containers xD Quite irracional, but the fact is the customs are way to slow, in normal circumstances trains are passing boarders quite usual :)

hi, thanks for the report, how it turned out, the customs capacity does not affect anything (I think so) but VEHICLE_UNLOAD_FACTOR just speeds up unloading, I will fix the mod as soon as I pick up the laptop from repair

One issue... :( I found out, that unpacking steel from trains is teribbly slow... :( Same with chemicals and basically everything... :( Is that issue with customs itself, that it can unload certain amount of goods and it's divided by number of trains or what? Looks like it's missing something like ENGINE_SPEED or VEHICLE_UNLOAD_FACTOR, but it's not applicable to customs i think? Other thing, have you found something related to customs speed with customs capacity? I've seen you've set for example capacity of steel to 1000t from standard 0,1t - have it improoved somethink?

"Bonus Customs" it's mean only additional customs should builded through landscape editor, Bulck, liquid and general customs can be builded without landscape editor
