can you add a button that blows up the heads of all beggars on your property? I really despise beggars, and I only kill them. no charity. at all. certain death. colonists should get like a +50 mood buff for killing beggars. beggar corpses should immediately rot upon death to reflect their rotten souls. upon entering the map animals should become man hunter until they die or leave. increasing hordes of beggars should come to map to punish you if you decide to give them charity because they are greedy and will just ask for more money. destroy all beggar s

You know, you CAN just ignore them. It only hurts if you have somebody charitable in your colony.

Colonists: "Finally, we have herbal medicine. Our god has blessed us with a bountiful harvest!"
Beggars: "Two thirds is for us?"

@Rohzdear in the code, compensation is given based on the changed value.
Will lowering the 'begging' value also decrease the 'potential' reward afterwards? I'd like it if it did.
Otherwise I'd like to be able to control how much you can be potentially rewarded by beggars afterwards, so as to scale the rewards in a more balanced manner.

I had beggars asking for 320 silver when I only had 317 in vanilla 😑
Fenris 2024
Beggars: "Hello small tribes people group, please give us 3000 silver <3"
Patrick: "I have 3 dollars"

Mfw handing over half my medicine or my colonists having mental breakdowns because I didn't make them evil for the 69 billionth time.
Thanks for making this.
Nols 2024
Are we able to increase the value and make the beggars more like the British government?
Motho 2024

Beggers are quite literally thieves.
Khod Khasunii 2024
i had a bunch of KIDS walk into my base and ask for glitterworld meds and "some" silver.

and cause of my ideology it was or i get scammed or my entire colony get huge debuff.
converted my entire colony to the second idelogy i had (for raiding) just so i could tell them off.

this mod make it far less painful to do thanks xD
last time i had a beggar it was a group of people. they where asking for 25 GLITTERWORLD MEDICINE to do a surgery on someone who was injured in a raid. i was so pissed they where trying to scam me i had my task force end them.

The last ones i saw wanted 75!!!! of medicine. (Not the herbal, the good stuff!)
At least the story was funny. It was for ONE person. For ONE surgery.
Just the other day, some beggars asked for 75 herbal medicine. Not only was that a crazy amount to just ask for for free, but it was over half of my actual stock of the stuff.

Yeah, I think I'll be downloading this mod.

Beggar stories?
I had one turn up and demand beer, because there was TECHNICALLY some in my colony.
Only problem was that it was only technically, because the only beer I had on my entire map was in the pocket of a refugee who was living at the colony, and they wanted ALL of it.
So I ended up drafting him and leaving him in the middle of the desert, just praying he hit heatstroke before a mental break.
...Good thing I was a. in a desert and b. that he did drop, otherwise all of my colonists would have been angry for days.
Roque the Rogue 2024
A group of 6 beggars came in last night.
They demanded 1 unit of Luciferium, which I thought was pretty unusual and neat. However this was a tribe playthrough.
I checked their health and everyone had luciferium need, the children, the pigskin, the hussar and the old lady.
My Tribe did not possess any luciferium, that's when the pigskin pointed me towards the ancient danger in which I thought, heh, funny.. I will open that and whatever is inside will rid me of these fools.
My biggest mistake, I have opened the ancient danger and fleshbeasts poured out of it, attacking only my tribesmen while the beggars looked and smiled at the butchery taking place, they killed my dog, killed my tribesmen, the tribe has died.
They left the map leaving the ancient danger untouched, that's when I noticed the 6 luciferium pills inside of it.

What kind of power move is this?

Any Beggar tales y'all have to share?

"We need 365 out of 400 of your glitterworld medicine to try to save a traveler that was mauled by mechanoids! Oh, please help!"
"How many organs does this traveler have that you need that many med packs and what do I get in return?"
"Uhhhhh... pretty please?"
