Thanks for the reply, I played around with it for a couple hours last night and I didn't encounter the bug. The QOL stuff in this mod is great, thanks for the mod.

It should help in certain cases. Particularly with the special Solaris biomes like the Stadium, Caves, and Jungle.

Does this mod help/stop the not all enemies spawning bug or the not counting mechs killed by the enemy bug in arena missions? i cant seem to find a way around it.

Yeah it seems worse on some mech types after the latest update. They aren't completely idle but they aren't maneuvering into weapons range to engage. PGI may revert some of their AI changes so I'm not going to do anything with it until at least the next patch comes out.

hey, thanks again for responding confirming this works with SoK.

I have noticed that atlas mech's seem to stay where they are, and possibly some other mechs, too, but not all the time.

I think that there could be an issue with idling in SoK. I also had some issues with spawns far away on occasion or large maps being generated, but , maybe I do something wrong in the configuration :)

I'm not much of a lore head tbh, but I think the idea of souped up IS mech loadouts with clan tech stuffed into them would be sweet, but maybe would be enough of a scope to justify being it's own thing. If you wanted compatibility with yaml for example, it becomes a fair bit of work

It's probably possible, but would involve other assets generating missions outside the realms of arenas and would likely conflict with other mods. It's not something I'd work on.

Is it possible to make a version of this to apply to non-arena missions? It's tiring having to walk for over 3km at 48kph

I've been thinking about making a dedicated clan arena faction, but haven't looked in detail as to what that would involve.

Is there any options to add clan mechs to appear in the Arena?

IDK if it's possible but maybe making them have non-clan paint jobs would help with the immersion? Maybe also a later intro to arena than 3051~ (or whenever) to simulate the clan mechs coming into the hands of people taking them into the arena

I think I had have some mods that would do something similar before DLC7, but since it's official now, I prefer to use as few mods as possible if I can help it

Thanks for the mod, couldn't imagine playing Arena missions without it (especially the ability to block those two jackass commentators lmao). However, I've noticed more enemy 'Mechs staying idle since SoK, especially during Scrapyard Scuffles. Since the patch did change some things related to the AI, maybe this part's not working as well? Or maybe I got unlucky. Not using any other gameplay-related mod. (Only Faction Standing Tweaks & Mod Options)

Does your mod still work with vanilla? or only shadow or kerensky?

That looks like the mod and game versions are mismatched. Sometimes the Steam Workshop fails to auto-update. Try unsubbing and resubbing.

I'm just happy you're still working on it. Your mod creates the best content this game has to offer. Arenas are such a great idea but they absolutely fumbled it with the AI and the massive arenas for a tiny duel and such. Arena control literally makes everything perfect.

Unfortunately AI mechs dont fully commit to killing each other, sometimes they will stand idle

I picked up solaris dlc on the winter sale and I have to say this pretty much saved the game for me. Entering an arena 1v11 where everyone is dropped in pairs, and after I finish the enemy I spawned next to I find out the other -10- mechs are just standing looking at eachother uninjured and not fighting unless I prod them into it was.... a complete failure by the devs. :steamfacepalm:

Forcing the enemy mechs to not idle so much makes it feel a little bit more like the free for all its supposed to be. They still drop instantly ignore who they are fighting to go after me if I get near, but at least they soften eachother up.

how do you even choose which commentator to be muted? would be nice to actually use the mod, do i put "1" in place of the zero or do i type "none"? I mainly just want to get jackson and his sidekick to shut up
