My idea for the Smoker is that it'll be a zombie fused with a Barnacle and other Xen foliage.

Ayo, this is neat. Would you ever consider making Headcrab Zombie-type mods for the smoker and charger as well? I wanna replace all the infected with Headcrab zombies, but those are the only special infected that don't have Headcrab Zombie mods as far as I know

Couple months late, but yes there is another version which lacks the Headcrab.

One without the headcrab would be sweet af..
