I do use tons of mods though and have no idea what might be causing this interaction. Either way, triggering it from dev mode is a good enough work around for me. Thanks again, OP :)
I was initially confused by the desc so anyone confused:
Lethal / Permanent Darkness: Sun is kapoot + Darkness damages you.
Oblivion Darkness: Darkness damages you, but sun is not kapoot, so safe to be out in the day. Like in desc, it's like Don't Starve.
added mod option to increase the amount of damage per hit and armor penetration.
my suggestion is making an optional option that make darkness damage ignore armor?(give it insane armor pen)
are we talking here, deal huge amount of damage at once? kill pawn if they stay in the dark for longer than X second?
Also I'd love an option to make hostile humanlikes immune to the dark to make things more challenging.
Thanks for making this mod! I was so disappointed when the official permanent game condition: unnatural darkness was super lame, so having this is great.
