a new type of ammo would be airsoft bbs, it can either be regular plastic bbs, bbs with different trace colors and steel ball bearings of matching size that would do 3 more damage points but also by just a tiny bit decrease fire rate, reliability and increase recoil regardless of the type of internals
basically you will be able to play more or less realistic airsoft in garrys mod, so realistic that you even have to count on people calling their hits.
