Btw i don't know if this is the right place to say this but this is not a air only problem it affects the better tank designer too, it seems to be that the AI just does not know what to do with the additions, either taking too long to use or not using them at all

Hey for some reason Wingbardy seems to building fighters one gen later than everyone else, is this a bug with this mod or some quirk of the AI, on that note the AI in general seems to have a hard time using the additions of this mod that is using NT, not using NT, alone or with all your mods combined. @ Naran also I looked at the spitfire. The template is written to use tier 3, since you didn't unlock it so the game using tier 2. Not a bug, just how vanilla work

added 4 extra modules slot for small/medium planes cuz adding all naval modules should make you run out slots quick lol

however common/ai_equipment (ai template on tech unlock) works

There is an error that's preventing EQS and other nations from producing fighters. The issue is a design flaw where GUNSIGHTS are being added to auxiliary weapons, making them impossible to build. In the case of EQS's Spitfire, the thrust isn't sufficient because of its Tier 2 engine. I've looked through the .txt files, but I can't find the problem. Can you please tell me how to fix this?

it is actually new technology problem, even new version put a placeholder tech to tell you why, you still cannot solve it as you are not able to research it. Don't play hippo with new technology enabled

This breaks one of communist hippogrifia's focuses. "Mount Aris radar array" requires that you have researched the tech radar, but since this mod reworks the radar tech tree, it blocks the focus and just doesn't tell you why.

It seems yes there is code that transfer technology that transfer old jet engine tech which doesn't have compressor tech. I should add decision to fix it

@Jacobheder old but I seem got same bug. I guess you get it by unlocking jet engine alternatively way (for me, either equestria pass down or paperclip via changeling since I was playing ELF)

Don't need update, but please bug report if you see any bugs. Currently I know medium naval bomber doesn't have name but I'm lazy to fix it

alright now it seems to actually show up. i have no real idea what changed or what caused it but now it seems to work fine... maybe i actually had the load order wrong and just failed to notice. anyways thanks again for the comp patch.

Not sure what it could be then, I did disable it to try and see if that was an issue and it turned out it wasn't. Thank you for the help at least, I'll just hafta mix and match mods and see what may be causing the issue when I get a chance

Upload it somewhere and link it, but error log is kinda not useful until paradox updated their engines (i.e crusader kings 3 and Victoria 3)

Hey, I've noticed I've been getting crashes right at the end of December 16th, 1007 and I use your compatches and stuff. I don't know if it may have something to do with these mods or possibly some other ones, so would it be alright if I sent my error log to you to maybe see what's going on? I parsed through it a little bit and tried whittling some of the extra mods I used but nothing so far has fixed the issue, and I suspect it might have to do with the added tech mods. If not that's also fine. Thank you for any consideration at least.

iirc i think i used the small supersonic (since i cheated to unlock all SP) planes and when i accidentally loaded my current game i tested it on the 1015 medium. on neither did it appear. i will check again.

Did you test it on early airframe? Both EAW version and base IAD doesn't allow you to put jet aspiration and engines on earlier airframe. (yeah I know soviet has biplane with jet shenganian) iirc you need 1011 or later.

scratch that. did not do a comparrison to between that and the improved designer on its own, just assumed based on look and the new modules that appeared in the designer. you do not get the jet alternatives for the engine aspirations. the SP tech unlocks it but the separate tab for it does not appear. so while the compressor is "unlocked" it can essentially not be chosen. this goes for both haveing the comp patch loaded before and after the new tech mod.

interrestingly enough this does not happen for the front module slot, where you can choose to either have gunsights or an electrical module. the comp patch actually lets you choose gun sights and lets you have the anti sub modules. i am still doing some comparrisons but maybe it has something to do with the compressor being part of a special project. long shot i know but it is the only thing i can guess at the moment.

The comp patch (to new tech mod) works and since my damn mouse doubbleclicked, i learned that it seems to be save game compatible.it does not crash when i loaded it nor after i started it up again. i looked at the designer and the research and it seems correct.

someone asked in tank designer mod and I took a look yesterday and it looks painful to make. The tech mod edited almost every single line of most tech tree so it gonna took some time to figure out and merge. At least I moved most tech to special project so it wouldn't too bad to patch.

hey. could you try to make a compatability patch for this mod and the new tech mod for eaw? noticed that it prevents the usage of the jet engines since i cant change the engine aspiration.

I uploaded the patch to fix the bug u reported, also added cat's suggestion, but didn't have time to test, pls tell me if you have problem

it looks like after recent EaW update this mod causes a bug that allows everyone to build nuclear reactors at hte start of the game. When IAD is deactivated the bug dissapears

yeah GSW tank slot extender but its currently broken because it removed the tick box next to the name, this is the case with the other ones too

there is working tank one for another non eaw expanded tank designer adoption. It only edit few files so you can take a look at it

That bug literally fixed months ago cuz I put compressor (aspiration for jet) in wrong special project. Did you use a ultra old version?

Hey hey, I can no longer use jet engines for aircraft, because I no longer have access to the jet aspiration technologies (its stuck on just piston aspiration tech). Playing as Hippogriffonia if that matters.
