Hi tsigosthanos, I'm working with blender for the meshes and UV unwrapping, to create perfect buildings, then I export as fbx to import in 3DSmax v2014 to work on animations, data attributions, ai logic and unit positionning.... It takes few weeks for each model to be created and implemented ingame, then I can export them with a creative assembly plugin and traduct them with BOB from creative assembly kit into readable files.... And finally I can use my models in TeD to create custom maps

Hi mohamed an update is coming soon, I added a lot of new buildings, custom houses, walls, historical buildings, etc... (animated) I am working always on Jerusalem and it will be huge
Don't worry Im always working on this mod and Im working closely with MK1212 devs to implement these maps to the campaign

ALSO, to add on onto the moral question, apart from this being a VIDEO GAME, if you are going to hold such standards for holy cities, I would consider your religious standards as inconsistent, as one of the key things in ALL Abrahamic religions is the focus on the lives of the people, not material. Locations are not people. If you consider it sinful to do war in a holy location in a video game, how can you consider it ok to do anything in this game? This game is about fighting battles. To me, you should not omit the beautiful art of accurately recreating historical settlements in this game for protecting a holy site, while killing is being allowed. If one is to have such opinions about video game morality, then killing is the ultimate sin, not destruction of sacred sites which WILL eventually be destroyed by natural forces anyway.

Ok, this is a video game. This is a video game called TOTAL WAR. If you are concerned about destroying things like that then I question why you have this game in the first place.
There is no way that you as a mod auther can seriously consider not making these awesome maps due to their religious significance. This game is about history and strategy, making the holy buildings indestructable makes sense, but omitting key locations for that reason seems like an affront to their history as well, maybe not for Mecca, since wasnt besieged.

i support the destruction of holy sites, its unfortunatelly what they done at the time and it makes sense that one kingdom or another could or couldnt do this, would be cool to have consequences tho

hi bluecher123, I understand that siege a sacrd city isn't a big idea :/ of course I don't want make apologies of violence against any religion... I respect the holy cities. I made holy buildings indestructible, I don't know if it's enough... There are to much mosquee destructed nowadays :(
Do you think Mecca in this list is too much and offensive even if holy buildings are indestructible ?
If it is I'm not going to reproduce it. Jerusalem was sieged during crusades, you think I shouldn't reproduce the city ? Mecca wasn't sieged between 692 and 1979, so historically it isn't necessary..
I would like get your point of view about what cities I can work on and which I can't to not offense religions.

Hey this seems intresting especially to look from top down, however as ive read i found out that they are played in custom battles, with maps like Jerusalem that is holy to the 3 religions or the sacred city of Mecca my excitement went away.

I know ive been quite harsh and i do like your engagement however having fighting battles at sacred sights especially Mecca, Mosques/churches etc. I am against.

PS:Hope i didnt just make you sad or mad because I dont think you had ill intent.

@Cyrus yes of course all cities will looks unique ;) I really want improve the gameplay when sieging these famous cities, and be historical accurate
Bagdad will look like in assassin's creed mirage, Damascus like in assassin's creed 1, Jerusalem like in Kingdom of heaven and reallity, other cities I have lot of images for reconstitution.
