Found Soul is a player? Fuck I forgot about that. Shit. uh. I guess if they count as a player then it would be cute. As for Tainted Soul, they are supposed to technically be one player just split in two, I can't help but think that people would wanna see it, so sure I'll include it.

regardless, this is a super good QOL mod

and I have a few suggestions like:
tainted the soul also having an icon (I already suggested this but it would still be cool)
found soul having an icon, as atm it displays with the isaac icon

I undestand completely if your answer is no, this is just a nitpick of mine (although if you fix it now, it'll probably work for EVERY mod that adds stages through StageApi, meaning that it'll be worth it on the long run)

last time I checked(a few days before The Grotto was added) this mod didn't work with The Boiler, when you transitioned there it shows Isaac's icon, not the character's

@Sanio thanks man, your mod is one of the coolest QoL mods that I've seen, I can't help but smile a little whenever I get on the level transition screen, thanks to seeing the coop icon of my character, really good stuff

After some investigation into Epiphany today, it turns out, for no really good reason whatsoever, they have their co-op icons on a different layer. The vanilla co-op animation file has all icons on layer 0 and there's other stuff on other layers (namely co-op babies), so I opted to only render layer 0. Epiphany has their icons on layer...3. I added some safety checks that will revert the icon to Isaac if the icon is ever to be found as invalid to render. Otherwise, I can confirm the Tarnished characters are now rendering their icons and I'll push an update.

It should automatically be using their co-op icon. It did it for Fiend and Sheriff in the thumbnail. I suppose I'll see what's up with the Tarnished characters in a bit.

Tarnished characters don't have an icon of their own, but it's not reverting back to Isaac's, so you only see a jumping shadow

Found out what the issue was. My Repentance floors fix for going to the same floor (Basement I to Downpour I) or going to Repentance floors in general involved faking what floor you were going to, basically telling my code "I know its floor 1 to floor 1 but pretend its floor 1 to floor 2" and so on and so forth.

This mostly worked except for the part where you get to Corpse, because I have specific checks that extend the length of the progress bar map (not literally, this code is all guess work) if Womb 2 is Corpse (making it 9 long) and if the Hush floor is revealed (extra spot on the map). It thought Corpse 1 was Corpse 2 and thought Corpse 2 was the Hush floor.

Anywho, I separated the stage detection and the position faking. I tested things out and it looks good.

Dead Tainted Lazarus doesn't have a co-op sprite, that would be why. As for the Corpse, I guess I'll look into that.

I also think I found a problem with specifically Tainted Lazarus. Going Down as Dead Tainted Lazarus displays Tainted Jacob's Sprite.

idk if this was a thing before or after the hush fix, but i went to corpse I and twice the sprite was ofset by lile half a left
