Can you and @BroPossible do us a favor and just remove your comments, as you should have before you silently downloaded 5.0 already to start playing? We'll gladly all forget this ever happened. Bonus points from me for a heartfelt little "sorry" to Rhox. Thanks, @Cherry! <
Wow - talented grown-up people made grown-up decisions in the interest of the community at large. People who deliver killer content to you for free. What a truly SHOCKING turn of events @Cherry_Pop9873, eh?
tl;dr two developers who worked on this couldn't get along and now we all have to deal with the consequences as a result
Warhammer 3 Workshop contributors try not to get into controversy for 1 year challenge (impossible)
What you'll need is a BACKUP of ALL MODS YOU WANT TO RUN as they are now (= compatible with 4.2.3). This has to happen BEFORE A SINGLE MOD is UPDATED FOR ToD! To play, you move these backed up mods in your empty "data" subfolder. Then activate them to play (a.g. activate all with CA launcher) and start 4.2.3 version. But: what I don't know sadly is
HOW TO BACK UP ALL currently ACTIVATED MODS in my current WH3MM preset (instead of all subscribed mods) easily?
Give them time to resolve the internal conflict, better support them with words and donations.
Please stop making jokes, insults, etc.
Give it time. Enjoy your weekend. Cooler heads will prevail. I've already adjudicated an amicable resolution. The mods will continue and nothing will be removed.
Say it ain't so! This was one of the best Norsca mods ever. I am so sad from this recent development.
Will this mod be looked after?
In what sense? Slavishly following only the sacred texts sold by Games Workshop? Probably not. Taking inspiration from and building on them using the rule of cool? Undoubtedly.
