i understand but for now i can only repeat what i already wrote before:
you can try to use this mod even with vanilla. most things will still work but some things might not work/will not show up then though. so i recommend to get the required DLCs for being able to fully enjoy this mod, but i think you should still be able to use it to some extent even without the DLCs. i won't release another version without the DLCs right now because the DLCs did add some new graphic assets which have been used for some of BG unit models. maybe i am going to rework this in the future in order to get rid of the official DLC requirements, but for now it is like it is. i hope for your understanding and like i said, you can still try to use this mod even though i highly recommend to get the DLCs in order to get the full content of this mod

thanks for clarifying. after checking your mod playlist it turned out it has indeed nothing to do with BG mod and it's not even a compatibility issue. it's just an issue caused by that other mod itself. have fun :)

sounds like you are encountering a compatibility issue with another mod. however, the comment section space is too small for such discussions. if you need help feel free to join the BG discord server, contact me on discord directly or add me on steam and contact me via PM. so far i was able to help everybody that reached out to me that way.

prior to doing this i would recommend to check out the ❓ Compatibility List and make sure to only use mods that i marked as compatible or use the compatibility patches that i provided when necessary. also make sure to use the correct mod loading order.

This mod was just updated for CK3 1.18.1.1 (today's PDX hotfix patch) - should be save-game compatible but as always: i recommend to unsubscribe + resubscribe to make sure steam is updating this mod for you in case auto-update by steam is not working as intended

please read my comment below. today CK 1.18.1 was released. i updated BG mod. but sometimes steam doesn't update mods automatically properly. you might have to unsubscribe and resubscribe to BG mod. then your ctd issue should be gone

This mod was just updated for CK3 1.18.1. Please note:
1. CK3 1.18.1 introduced a FX file rework. this did cause a ctd when using BG. If you still experience a ctd even after i updated BG right now, then you have to unsubscribe + resubscribe in order to reload the mod.
2. Some compatibility patches might require an update as well now, but i can only update them once the mods that i have built those comp. patches for have been updated too. So please be patient on compatibility patches with other mods. I will update all comp. patches that require an update once those other mods have been updated too

UPE did add an unit model set (majapahit) which has already been introduced by xangelo in 2021 for modjam if i am not mistaken, but it was just used by other CK3 mods. UPE does use it now for sea countries and Xangelo offered that i can use those models for BG as well. but right now i am busy with BG EUV and BG mod does already include a custom sea army set based on burmese t1 and t2 soldiers and new custom sea t3 units (based on reworked indian t3 units). i do plan on overhauling those sea units even more in the future when i have more time and then i will see if some of those majapahit units will be implemented into BG or if i am going to add other unit models. but i don't see any urgency to do this right away. please keep in mind BG does differ from UPE not only through providing armies instead of single unit models but also through providing reworked unit models often with different textures, sometimes different 3D model parts and combinations and so on :)

I turned on this mod alone and put it on top, and its body, arms and legs are still stick figure, only the head looks human, I don't turn on any other mods besides this one :(

no, this mod is not outdated. but a compatibility patch might be outdated or you might be missing a compatibility patch. did you check this out and made sure you only use compatible mods with the right comp. patches and right mod loading order together with BG? ❓Compatibility List

Is this mod outdate? My character looks like a stickman without clothes, after many tests and mod arrangements, this mod is the cause =3='

yes, although it depends on your hardware setup how much it is affecting performance. for some hardware setups there won't be any or only a very minor and neglectable impact. some players however aren't able to run this mod without encountering a negative performance impact. frankly, i recommend to just test it. if you can't handle it, turn it off. it's save-game compatible. so your save-game will not be broken when turning BG mod on/off.

If you want to use Cultural Armies II together with Battle Graphics, then feel free to use this BG+Cultural Armies II Compatch . have fun ***

hi! great to read you're loving the mod! thanks for the heads-up about the accolade bug! that being said, i am afraid this would involve deeper investigations and more information because i have never heard about such a bug. in fact i don't even know why an accolade should change the look of a 3D army unit model/army and even if it did, why it should cause such a bug - unless it's causing a switch to a culture 3D army that is not included into BG mod. but the only army unit models that are not included into BG mod are being provided by other external incompatible mods. it would be awesome if you could maybe join the BG discord server and provide more information or if you are able to switch to the ☎️ Bug Report thread for providing more information/discussing this, because the comment section is just too small :)

Hi am loving your mod!
I might have found a bug where my army reverts back to the single model because of an accolade. When I remove him from the army it reverts back to how the mod intended.

first of all thanks for pointing out this bug :steamthumbsup:
i knew PDX added new options for MAA illustration implementation but i missed that with 1.18 they changed how MAA are being implemented by linking generic MAA illustrations with unit_gfx, which is being used for 3D army unit models. since BG mod does add a lot more unit_gfx cultural variety by adding different looking armies/unit models spread across more cultures, this bug showed up with 1.18 .. anyways, i just fixed this bug and uploaded a hotfix update - have fun :)
PS: next time please use the bug report thread if you think you found a bug. i prefer to keep things clean. thank you in advance!

The AUH patch introduced regional or culture specific illustrations for knights in the military window. For example Iranian culture groups have the Ayyar illustration, Arab ones use Mubarizun etc. I've noticed with that they revert back to the default western knight image when this mod is enabled. I don't think the East Asian regions are affected however.
