I managed to get it working with 1.6, but it requires modifying the code and recompiling. I'm using it on the Linux version without any problems. I'd need permission from the developers to release a new version, but I don't know where to find it.

Mend and recycle is a bit OP, very cheap to fix legendary cataphract armor, I'd recommend repairable gear instead

OR! And, hear me out - you could use MendAndRecycle.
Not only can you remove the tainted tag from apparel, you can FIX IT.
You can restore the durability of everything wearable, including weapons.
And you can recycle low quality or unwanted apparel into part of their component materials.

This mod is buggy. I had to pull it from my mod-list. I play with a lot of mods though. If anyone fixes it please post link here. :)

how do u even get this to work in game? Does it need to be at the end of my mod list?

really helpful, however for some reason it removed the visibility for all the work markers in the game (I.E. the blocks used to show that something is set to be mined/cut). i don't know WHY it did this but everything was fine BEFORE i added the mod, now afterwards even when i disable the mod the mining markers are still invisible. will continue to work at this.

How does this work?
