Mana crystals could fit the bill for the time being, I remember I saw someone using that for a concept

If there aren't any gems that fit the bill, maybe someone (or even you) can mod in new gems that spawn in alongside the hardmode metals or something to make staves! That could be fun

What gems should I use for that? The theme of vanilla gem staves is one gem per metal, so we'd need another gem per hardmode metal to keep it "feeling vanilla" imo

I really like this mod. It is really balanced and it feels like vanilla Terraria.

It might be really useful for lancers on Corruption worlds (Do they even exist?) Due to having more pre-Eater of worlds spears they can fight him with.

I might make a small video reviewing this mod... 10/10 mod.
