Another Cold War iconic Russian firearm, especially with the rectangular belt box. One which i do enjoy seeing in video games. Not only held by Russian soldiers, but some made their way to places like Somalia which the Somali pirates got hands on such weapons. Which the reason for that is a mix of Somalia used to be kind of a dumping ground for Russian arms and war lords acquiring these weapons through money from part of the bounty from hijacking foreign ships ever since the 80's when foreign fleeting companies came in affecting the fishing livelihood of some natives. Which i remember reading about and hearing from those who lived in Somalia and even participated in the civil war that broke out.
