This is an excellent mod with very interesting models for the collection. I was just looking through other author mods and discovered that there is also a mod called Vampires of Aguirre. It would be great if this mod were also released for Wh III, especially since the author mentioned it last year. Such works of art should not remain in the shadows of the past.🌞

Thank you very much. And well, honestly, I also own half–made versions of Aguirre's Vampires and Empire for personal use. I coincide with your opinion that they're timeless and very desirable for Warhammer's playing. The more advanced one I own is Agu vamps. I take note of your interest. I think it probably is representative of much of the community.

I didn't finish then because I'm always unavoidably engaged into several projects competing with one each other for my attention, besides I don't have too many lefting time for modding lately for the circumstances of life.

I see you uploaded these high quality Aguirre's custom units. I am very thankful for that. I was hoping that perhaps you would be willing to also upload the rest of Aguirre's mods to WH3. I mean port them.

Such as: his Custom units, his Vampire units as well as his Bretonnian unit pack? His beautiful units are timeless and I have been missing them the most probably in WH3.

Hi, Cynewulf. The described crash shouldn't be related to latest patch, as usual crashes for that cause take place at initial loading screen.
I'd need to know under which circumstances did you get your crash, because I'm not getting any, and I'm using it together with many other mods;
which tries have you made, did you try it alone, did you try it with other mods? Did your version of the mod update properly? (If not please, unsubscribe, restart your computer and resubscribe).
Then, please, try with only this mod on, if you haven't yet.

Just a heads up: While all the High Elf units seem to work with the latest update, the Wood Elf units will crash the unit browser.

@Wolfman: No he isn't; all that mod does is adding new characters, but it doesn't replace anything from base game.

Do you happen to know the mod that adds him, unless he is already in the game, i have only just started my first High Elves playthrough so there's a very high chance i may just have not encountered him yet

That Lord/Hero with the dragon shield and armour is amazing, does this mod add him or another mod?

For me, the hero and lord versions of the sisters of Avelorn are the Handmaiden of the Everqueen and Elf Princess respectively.

what are the chances someone could make a mod to make the sisters of avelorn unit into a hero or lord ?

@marauderB, In a game trial with only this mod on, it allowed the recruitment of lions of Chrace and lions of Chrace chariots. I think it's out of suspicion.

@marauderB Initially, I don't know how could that be; this mod doesn't touch them, or any vanilla building. However, I will make a game trial when I'm able, and see what I find.

I suspect this mod is responsible for me no longer being able to recruit war lions of chrace or war lion chariots, any ideas?

Has it always CTDed in your campaign or just in that occasion?

@MITHRANDIR For what you are saying, perhaps you may be getting a non-updated triangular warning on the launcher. I didn't know till now. Actually, this mod hardly gets affected by any of the updates CA is lately introducing, since they affect to the races of the DLC (Empire, Dwarves and Nurgle/ Chaos).
So I can say it's safe to use. Maybe I do a check-up update later on, only to ease things to concerned users. However, it doesn't really need anything, it is on good fit.

@Hans Really? Mind maybe sharing a few details how you tested this? Solo? Haha - just kidding of course you didn't :)

But then tell him at least what your glorious setup looks like for the crash, will you? Who you play as, which campaign, how many mods are running and at what moment do you do what (enter the battle field, hover the unit card?) to RELIABLY get your crashes?

(Like, you know, just so the poor author, who's probably less than convinced of your report's validity can actually go and test what you're saying without wasting extra time)

Just letting you know that if it's not the case that, no matter what settings, any touch point the player has with Highborn Spearmen will cause insta CTD, you are being extremely rude. Released version 2 with removed alternative units for those of you not wanting them. See link above. Finally no patch, as it didn't work.

You stated your issue is partially due to this mod, how do you know it is so?

this is deleting the original game shadow warriors from the avelorn faction, and makes it so if you confederate alith anar, if he has any shadow warriors in his army, you will crash if you mouse over them. could be like a phoenix court interaction or something, but its definitely partially this mod. its still a really cool mod, just a bug report.
