Great Mod. But sadly it doesn´t work with my Seeds in my Farm.

Aslong as there is a convayer to it it should put it in. Now if u have ammo set as sorting in a container, put [Exempt] on the name of the guns and it will fill put NOT pull out :)]

I don't see it in the valid commands, but how do i tell my ship to automatically load assaultcannon shells, artillery shells and railgun sabots?

Yeah, Gravel is a pain...Ingot/Stone... Have you tried that?

There is also a conveyor-sorter (vanilla) that can have a whitelist or blacklist
I use that to push stone out of my mining ship... works flawless

my fork should function with all current item types, if not, please leave a comment over on my page and I will look into it. There are some issues with the sorting code present in the original code when using very large grids I am looking into that but for now my sorting code is identical to the original and the primary changes are just sorting categories

As of Nov 2024, the mod is working fine for me. If you're wondering whether to give this mod a try, I highly recommend you do. It's soooo easy and helpful, I highly recommend it

Is there any way to sort out Plushies and Space Credits? Also, is there any way to have a container push instead of pull? Basically I have many cargo crates I don't want to have items in them, I only want them to fill up as a backup reserve in case everything else fills up

This mod no longer seems to be pulling inputs(ingots) from production blocks(assemblers), and all the threads/comments seem to be from 2+ years ago, is this mod still being updated?

@Cholarry I don't think you did it right. Pretty sure you're suppose to separate different stuff with commas ( , ). ie: cargo container 1 [Ingot/Iron:P1:53280,Ingot/Nickel:P1:53280]

Great mod, thank you. Just an FYI, Explosive keyword seems to work as singular, not plural Explosive's' as indicated in your description.

@cholarry I believe your issues is the double command [Ingot/Iron:P1][Ingot/Iron:53280] should just be [Ingot/Iron:P1:53280].

Ive got a slight problem. Im trying to have a certain amount of multiple items in a single container, using the [Item:Amount] command. But i found that only the last command "[Ingot:Stone:6660][Ingot/Stone:P1] is executed. am i missing something?

How can you sort the new ammo types from the warfare 2 update?

I'm noticing the new ammo types are ignoring exempt and split tags as well.

Will this be updated? is the dev even still around?

So I had Automated Inventory Sorting for about 1 day and I had to remove it from my dedi server because it was constantly rubberbanding us. No idea why any help would be much appreciated

If a user does not use names with the special strings like "myCargo01[SteelPlate:10000]"

if used on a server is it an optional system or will it try to work on all players cargo. We don't want to force player into using a system they don't want.

What a great mod. Honestly - this is the dream of every space-autist.

But does anyone know if the containers can still be used as a Conveyor?

In the following example:

Build and Repair System - [Ingot] - Assembler

Can the Build and Repair System still pull from the Assembler?

Should mention, I have it named [Component,Ore,Ingot] Industrial as I'm using the industrial cargo container mod.

Mod works fine for me, [Component,Ore,Ingot] is what I use on my cargo container and after about 5-8 seconds it pulls all ore, components, and ingots.

I used to play with it a few years ago, but cannot get it to work nowadays at all. Can anyone post a FULL name that I would use to get, for example, a Basic Refinery that won't pull Stone no matter what? Including all the ":[]" etc characters, please...

It's work fine for me. I have a large base, an explorer ship and a miner. I set up to the explorer pull everything from the miner, and process it, the base pull everything from the ships.
But. Is there any way to turn of the shorting temporally? Sometimes I'd like to stockpile/transfer items from the base to explorer ship, but the sorter always pull it back :(
(I dont want to rename the containers, just turn off, dock, transfer item, leave base, turn on)

just did a little testride and all works fine
No error in main menu
No error on loading savegame
Went some mining, all normal
Back home all ores get sortet and processed

How did you get the "critical error"? On start? When loading savegame?:manthinking:

Ok, how do you pull all ore except uranium? [Ore/Uranium:Ignore:P1:Ore] doesn't pull anything.

[Ore,Uranium:Ignore:P1:Ore] pulls everything including uranium

For those having issues getting this to work who didn't read the whole mod info, ensure you:
- have "Use Conveyor System" disabled.
- use "Ingot/Stone" instead of 'Gravel' if you're sorting gravel
- modify the name of the object

this mod never showed in the scipts list because it is a MOD :lunar2019grinningpig:
It works without a programmable block. Just have it included as a MOD in your savegame

If still have probles, just ask again. I think this mod is awesome

This stopped showing up in my scripts list, I've tried reinstalling the scripts, restarting my computer, installing every single fork of this script, but none of them are showing up in my list??

played SE again for some hours of fun and this mod still works fine!
* Ships will be unload from ore and filled with uranium
* Planet mining ship poop out stone if needed (keystroke - toggle) ONLY stone
* Batteries of ship will be loaded from base when connected
* Rounting through connectors on pistons with Rotors - tested - works just fine
* All routing in my base also still work fine

I will make a little Guide So I do not have to spam the section too much :lunar2019grinningpig:

Can this be used to make sure my Assemblers always have Ingots by naming the Assembler with the Ingot tag and amounts? One of my biggest issues is when an Assembler bottlenecks full of one type of Ingot and can't load anything else.

I have not played SE in a while and not tested it myself yet but I think it will work.
The Items are not named but refered by class (eg "ore")
