Hey, I too am having a hard time getting the VLS to target - and yes, I've read the description that they're 'smart' and should auto target. Testing in creative, I load a grid and turn it over to SPRT. From 1+km away (in case of minimum lock distance), I lock onto it with weaponcore, even if unneeded. Firing VLS both at an angle (to test the 'vertical' aspect of a VLS) and in the general direction of the SPRT grid results in the missiles just flying straight into the skybox, not curving to hit.

Trigger mode is Key Toggle (using hotbar group), Control mode is AI (though from your comments, that latter may not matter). Tried with Focus Fire both on/off, though I suspect that also doesn't matter.

(I have tested in a creative world with only WC and this mod)

Missiles are manualy fired, aka will not shoot at hostiles by self like turrets do.
They are by design, manualy fired and then they will self guide to nearest hostile target to terminate it.

Is anyone able to get the VLS-Mk-41 to shoot automatically like the other weapons do when a target is detected?

"Morlonod" Did u even read description of weapons, VLS are smart meaning it will autoguide to closest enemy and destroy them, just activate weapon no need to target

"Alienicon" In usage with WeaponCore, dmg of weapons is Above vanilla, weapons are designed in mind to work with vanilla weapon dmg, if u prefer OverPowered Weapons i woud consider other weapon mods like

I love this mod, the weapons look good and the diversity covers all angles. However, I feel the damage is lackluster and below vanilla damage. I am not familiar with modadjuster so I can't change it. Just letting Ellinn know my opinion on it.

Hi all, I'm having trouble figuring out how to load the VLS ammo (botht ehsingle tube and 8 pack), I try to put the missile(s) in the conveyor port but it won't load. I've tried with the ESSM, the RIM116, and even the SEARAM. I've tried connecting to a cargo cont and loading that way too.

@Pufferfish 120 , small grid weapons arent planned to be added anytime soon , remember as these mods are a hobby and take time and effort to make without any benefit out of them , so for request for weapons while they will be considered they also dont take priority over what we have already planed or are going to do.
In short while you say they need to be added there needs to be an incentive for them to be added.

@Xandrill I seen so many people asking or responding to "Not OP Weapon Mods". I think I have tested all of them and just don't see it. But, i'm a noob. Do you have a example of a weapon mod that is deemed "OP"?

Very cool mod, always wanted better (but not OP) bullet and missile turrets with less CPU. ^^
