Love the Icons you have picked for the current signs. Can't WAIT to see how you handle the Alpha Skills! Keep up the amazing work!

Here are my icon design proposals:

dedicated - A three-quarters heart with the top-right section missing. (Personally, I think it would be cleaner to make "minor passion" a red "apathy" and use the existing half-filled heart for this, but that might confuse current users.)

obsessive - A small, red version of the "critical" icon.

synergistic - This one's tricky. A rippling "minor heart" seems appropriate.

frozen - A light-blue snowflake. You can't get a more fitting symbol than this.

night - A light-blue crescent moon.

drunken - A red beer mug or a wine glass.

youth - An orange pacifier, an open book, or a school.

vengeful - An orange, horned devil face.

forbidden - A light-blue and black heart?

nomadic - A red airplane.

sanguine - Keeping the current blood drop icon would be fine. Alternatively, the thumbnail from the "Vampire Thralls" mod also looks good. For better visibility, we could also just draw fangs.

toxic - A green skull and crossbones.

pain - A whip or claw marks.

idk if these will fit your style, but hopefully something's useful in here:

-dedicated: quarter-heart?
-obsessive: eye with a fiery, heart-shaped, or star-shaped "pupil"? spiral? heart with a spiraling pattern in it?
-synergistic: that two-connected-hearts emoji?
-frozen: white or pale blue heart? snowflake?
-night: crescent moon?
-drunken: brown, orange, or yellow "drunk bubbles"?
-youth: small heart inside the outline of a larger heart?
-vengeful: heart with a jagged break? hatchet or knife? shattered mirror? generic broken fragments?
-forbidden: grey heart with a keyhole in it? closed lock? golden apple?
-nomadic: wheel of some kind? comet? four-pointed star?
-sanguine: drop of blood? red heart with a drop of blood hanging off the tail, similar to those exclamation-heart emojis?
-pollution: toxic green or brown-green heart? toxic green or brown-green skull?
-pain-driven: jagged red or orange "explosion"? red or orange "lightning bolt"?

So, I'd like to do something for Alpha Skills, and I started on it, but I couldn't think of what to use for most all of the icons. If people have ideas for what to replace each of the icons with, please let me know! That's really all that the Alpha Skills support is waiting on.

Theres a bug where the Icons dont show up when using prepare carefully to change passions

It seems different people have different tastes. What about letting us choose? I know it would be way more work but it could be awesome to have the option to choose between 4-5 diferent icons for each type of passion. Just an idea :p

I would like to see the small dark flame in the center of the big flame as the minor passion, the large flame as a major passion and the critical as a heart.

oersinally, I think that the way apathy is shown is not the best, but otherwise this does look nicer than in vanilla expanded. thank you for making this!

I like them as they are. As I mentioned earlier, I iterated on the designs a LOT before I landed on what I felt worked the best, so I'm not interested in changing them.

I agree with the yellow heart idea for Natural passion. Another idea is making it a single leaf with a transparent midrib/vein the same way the center of the heart is transparent.

These retextures are great! It really makes the stats nicer to look at.

As a suggestion, the one for natural could be a light yellow heart, similar to the flame they use in VSE but, a heart as the rest of them. Maybe it'd fit better than the leaves.

That was an option I considered back when I was making these, but keep in mind that ingame the scale of these is tiny . Even smaller than an emoji. And the way rimworld does scaling for those icons means that details tend to get even more washed out. Making it a heart on fire meant it washed out both things so much that it just looked like a red/orange smudge.
