Usually the crash problem isn't the hardware--especially not nowadays--but rather the 32-bit limitation on the game's memory. This puts a ceiling on how many 4k and/or high poly models the game can run before exceeding its memory limit, resulting in a crash. Set Page Pool Memory to Low to help mitigate this folks.
