it'd definitely also be cool to see more possible pet effects, if that's on the table!! i really like the almost psuedo "randomiser" aspect to it. i think it'd be fun to have more effects that don't really "do" anything, like one that just randomly changes the colour/hue of the monster or maybe causes them to slowly strobe/fade through the rainbow, like an rgb keyboard LMAO....... now i'm also thinking of an effect that just gives every "head"/node a little hat. just a hat. as a treat

i hope your game sound issues can be resolved, that sounds so annoying ;; awesome to hear you were thinking about the same thing though!! i know it's just because of idle animations slowing/pausing when petting, but the small nerve-like tendrils that usually wave back and forth stopping and starting again with pets almost read as like a dog wagging its tail and i think that's great. happy carrion :)

The monster sound reaction thing was something I thought would be nice as well (the official Phobia Discord server made the monster being able to purr """definitely canon"""), but ingame sounds haven't been working properly for me, so it might take a bit.

Have some bugs to fix still (most of the petting stuff was done in like 2 days with practically no playtesting, and it shows) and some small adjustments in general.

Btw, if anyone has any ideas for more extra things for this mod, or just mod ideas in general, it would help me a lot (I have like 2 more mod ideas that fall more on the utility/QoL side, and that's it lmao).

oh my god...... ok i know this is an april fools' mod and i don't know if you plan on updating/adding to this, but either way it's genuinely so good and the little extra things (being vague on purpose teehee) were such a surprise!! i really wish we could load multiple mods at once because as far as i'm concerned this is a necessary mod.

if you ever DO plan on adding to this mod, i think it'd be cool if the monster had an audible reaction to being pet - like maybe making one of their "taunt" sounds afterwards or something?? just a suggestion though...... regardless. i appreciate this mod and i appreciate you, thank you!! banger mod

we need the carrion to be able to pet humans just like sigh fi said.

finally....... a vital mod........... now all we need is a method that also allows you to pet the humans without grabbing them too hard and accidentally breaking them in half/eating them (if they are Nice and Good and aren't trying to shoot >:/)
