I guess it's not that cheaty...I just noticed that your new Stone and Wood depots can only hold 500 stones/logs total each, whereas a stone stockpile can hold 2000 stones in the same amount of space.

Ah, I found it. It adds a new set of buildings in the Dedicated Storages menu that act as "chests" for the lack of a better word, that hold a ton of items. Seems a bit cheaty I guess.

It looks like this mod adds a "Storage depots" research item, but it doesn't seem needed to build the dedicated storages. What is the research item for?

I still don't see the difference between vanilla and this mod. I'm daft, can you explain it slowly?

if it saves me the repeated hassle of setting what should and should not be allowed, over and over again, it just may rise quickly to the top of my Favorite Mods List. thank you for sharing

It is yes and anyone is free to ignore this mod. It just bypasses the need to manual set the storage limitations, that’s all

All its does is separate shelves and stockpiled into dedicated resources or resource groups for organization purposes.

Example: Raw food shelves will only hold raw food, Electronic component shelves only hold electronics, etc.

Same applies to stockpiles except they will only hold dedicated construction resources

What do you mean "dedicated storages" ? What is the difference with vanilla ones ?
