@nony almost every mod that adds unique charachters or factions adds items. Some of those items might not cause errors but some probally will. Turn on script logging and look for "Spawning Ancillary: " to see what items was created during fusion but not added

I combined two book of ashurs in different turns, and both times resulted in nothing. i do use other mods that adds more items i think though?

@dziablo and @ilke I looked into the condition where no item is given after fusion and i think i have found out why.

This mod makes its own ancillary_list_i list in wh3_campaign_magic_items.lua. This list is made without the "RandomlyDropped == true" condition unlike the base game version of list; ancillary_list.

This means that items from mods like Cataph's Southern Realms (TEB) gets added to the list and can be given during fusion even though the faction you are playing cant get this item. This is the same thing preventing console commands form adding items your faction cant use.

I dont know why the function CanFactionUseAncillary does not prevent that as i have no how that function work.

i also experienced an item disappearing after combining two blue items. chance seem pretty low but it certainly does happen.

Hello, I just realized that some blue staff(enchanted items) were disappearing after the last update (note: dwarves had no issues). I’ve fixed the problem, and the mod is now up to date for version 6.3.3.

Hey .. latest hotfix may have borked this mod as the 'staff slot' component is not working.

I've unsubscribed/resubscribed to no avail.

I’ve tested the mod on version 6.3.1. Item crafting never failed for me. I’ve tried it with Dwarfs and Tomb Kings. If it’s failing for you, I’d guess the reason might be your other mods or the faction you’re playing with.

Item fusion sometimes fails(no scrap or any popup, just items are gone), I added lua logs mod and more logs of out curiosity and to me it looks like
cm:add_ancillary_to_faction(faction, new_ancillary, false);
just randomly does nothing sometimes... even though all params passed are valid

Hmmm... im not able to fuse purple items with this mod as I want to :(

Is there possibly a load order requirement if loaded with other item mods? Im going to try loading it further up and hope it works better.

Hello, I have updated the mod. Everything now works fine, and there are no scraps.
Thanks for your patience. I wasn’t playing the game during this time, as I was planning to wait for the upcoming DLC. However, since the DLC was delayed, I updated the mod.

Hey man, just wanted to let you know with 6.2.1 item rework when you fuse items with this mod enabled it still deletes the two fused items, but does not produce a new item.
I'll wait patiently for an update, you have my favorite version of this type of mod for WH3. Thanks man!

Now I tested the mod . I saw there was bunch of problems. It is now fixed. I am playing it too.
Fix notes:
- Banners and followers are set to nation specific.
- It is possible to craft beyond purple
- Yellow items are craftable

After some testing I think the mod is bug a bit. It works but also give various ancillaries from many different factions/races after each battle. So after every fight I get like 3 to 5 ancillaries items given to me and there are not theme for ogres.

Also with this mod when I remove mount from my lord/hero it can dissappear and will reappear after lvl up. It seems that you made mounts fusable.

I did that because to much of the purple items is kinda overpowered, especially with mod which gives extra items for many faction leaders:

@iIlke I managed to craft purple-->yellow
For that you need to change uniqueness score higher than purple (I changed to 201)
In this tables:
1) ancillary_uniqueness_groupings_tables wh_main_anc_group_crafted min and max uniqueness to 201
2) ancillary_salvage_resources_tables change from 199 to 201 all categories which give wh3_main_salvage_anc_group_crafted
3) ancillaries_tables here you need to filter all items by Uniqueness score and change from 199 to 201.

-For purple to yellow: Maybe adding yellow items to the purple pool can be good solution. because generaly purple items are better. to do pool change I should know all yellow item names . I am not sure where can I find all yellow item names.

- you can modify slot limits with changing : db/ancillaries_categories_faction_junctions_tables
with this table it is posible to make dual sword slot or canceling arcane slot etc.

Is it possible to change "2 blue (rare) -->1 purple" to "2 blue-->1 blue".
I changed in ancillary_salvage_resources_tables "Salvage Resources" from wh3_main_salvage_anc_group_rare to wh3_main_salvage_anc_group_uncommon for items with appropriate "Min Uniqueness score" (min 50 which is for rare)
But it still gives me some purple items. (Mostly from another mod)

Ok played for High Elves a little and found that I can't fuse crafted items. I changed uniqueness score in ancillaries table and now it works fine

The Greenskins had a purple banner called Da immortalz that was attached to Grimgore, entity cannot not be killed. It was impossible to kill him, was it created with this mod? It must be toned down. TY

I played 5.02 version with my friend. we are at 70.turn. and mod is working fine in coop.
