How do i change the color of the country after the war? i tried changing it from the colors.txt under the tag RUS, but it doesn't change. Is it tied to a dynamic nation? like D0something?

maybe some changes to the very bottom of the tree? making the three micropaths either non exclusive or changing it so you choose between the two government types but not "For the common good"?

Somehow the ai managed to keep stalin while going the right opposition, like getting the nep and some ministers. Which i thought was weird and funny.

suggestion: intergrate some of the civil war mechanics from the communists to white russia like gaining general and admiral support and enticing workers with also a extra function that allows you to entice admirals/generals to defect using command power politcal power

From my testing, it looks like the mod still technically works with the latest update, however there are a few focuses that are missing compatibility/parity with the current base game. For example, "Transformation of Nature" is missing the new dams giving bonuses to a few states, and there are many bonuses to breakthrough progress that were added to various industrial and military focuses that are missing in the mod.

Is anything in this mod not working?

Also another tip for the mod! What if you dont want to change leader but still want to do "return democracy to the party"? Put a extra option between "party of petrograd" and "first among equals" which gives a very shitty reward like some pp but still gives and option to remove pp cost of factonalism

Based, it would be cool to have Stalin's death event in 1953 with a couple of secret focuses to choose his successor (maybe Khruschev, Berija and Zhukov if they aren't dead) and maybe a military regime with the "leftist" generals in the left opposition tree

This mod cannot be compatible with RT56 as they have a different focus tree. There is no way of merging focus trees from different mods.

Its either in base game or r56 but in those you could do the focuses which required certain persons as active instead of it requiring to be a country leader. It would make a more flexible and alive focus tree while also preventing softlocks?

- Two new focuses for Left Opposition: 'Rehabilitate Stalinist Generals' and 'Loyalist Military Staff'
These are mutually exclusive and give you the opportunity to recruit some of Stalin's generals after the civil war.
NOTE: this is not backwards compatible to old save games. It won't do anything if you choose it with an older save.

It isn't ideal but changing it would have required reworking it too far from vanilla and arguably making it too powerful. Right now, you can get a guaranteed coup by just taking Infiltrate the NKVD, and there are three focuses that otherwise improve your chances, so plenty of dicerolls to reload and refresh your chances, unlike vanilla.

Can we just have the coup be non-randomized? It kinda sucks that you can just get fucked by diceroll eu4 style

I haven't had or heard of anyone experiences this issue. Are you aware of the vanilla mechanic that if paranoia goes too high it will cause a civil war early? Because several focuses are faster in this mod (and it actually takes one less focus to coup), you may have to adjust your strategy from vanilla.

What is "Faster and re-balanced Right Opposition Coup" because it is wasy shittier now. It lasts exactly same number of focuses, but what I get with your mod is civil war out of nowhere, civil war that never happens in vanilla with this optimized focus order. So definately you screwed something up. Maybe other paths are better, but wont check it, for me soviet has the one and only path: killing stalin and focus on economy.
