It happened in multiplayer after I loaded in to my friends game, he couldn't turn on the generator either.

I'm pretty sure that happens after you load a game save. I have no idea how to fix it though.

That's a huge oversight, thanks for reporting it to me! a new patch along small changes should be out soon whenever steam approves it.

good map, but please make it so that NPCs can't open doors, or atleast make it so that they get locked when they get closed.

In-order to turn off the lights you have click E on the generator in one of the rooms.
