yea. that is a Game feature not the mod. it is coded in the game... if you destroy a cargo container you will get 50% of the original amount and if you salvage it then you will get 70%, there is no better way then salvaging it or editing game files

i had an issue with other storage mods where when destroying a storage container with a weapon it would only drop a fraction of what was held. i'll still download this to test it out but does anyone know if there's a fix for this?

I see one issue with this (haven't tested it tho) when used with build battle mode buying ammo for cannons etc. will eat up all your money.
