@cmessonn: Nope Don't care much for the new update, and even less for the ghost generals which was a CA mistake, (I mean come on CA, it is a basic error of the VDM files, it is a rookie mistake) The mod files doesn't even Touch the generals Skins.

If it works it works, the reason that this mod is still up is for other modders to learn from it, and fix my old Error.

For some reason i attacked an army on forced march and in the ambush i had all the defences that you listed,even though i attacked and far from any city. Seposed to happen? Also i kind of agree with benjin below. But i have to say its a really nice mod.

Hey there, I really do like this mod but I somewhat feel that this is a bit too... over-powered? It makes a lot of my defensive battles really to easy to fight.

I think it'd be a good thing to half the amount of available defences, for instance, when your settlement is Level I. When you upgrade your settlement to levels II, III and IV, that's when you should get more of each type of placeable defence, as you will be investing a portion of the money you spend on upgrading your core settlement for not just growth / economic / happiness benefits, but also for defence.

I like it a lot, but finally, there is no moral bonus for defensor, right? I'm looking to find a way to completly remove routing defensor in siege battle, I absolutly think its stupid the guys just run from their own cities... I would like defensors who fight until their death in siege battle... cheers

A suggestion: Maybe it would be an idea to make an accompanying mod that lets you deploy a bit outside of city walls?
I Downloaded this mod and went to try it out in custom battle siege defense, then realized that since you cant deploy outside the walls most of the defenses are useless. Pity, I was looking forward to brimstone-pitting the ladders as they approached. beats wasting half my arrow ammo burning them.

Good mod overall, I like how it adds a layer of strategy to defending settlements. That said it also feels a bit unbalanced at times, as the barricades gave me enough of an advantage to win the battle (especially with enemy cavalry involved).

I don't know if it's possible but perhaps tying the number of defenses to siege tech level might make it more balanced, so completing siege level one (all three techs) grants you 4 barricades, 2 caltrops, 2 stakes; Level 2: 6 barricades, 3 caltrops, 3 stakes, etc... and level 3 the total maximum. Just an idea so that the mod feels more strategic rather than a "cheat" that gives you free defenses.

Karnill i won the Battle i 700 had Troops I Send the suriviours home to Sparta And Recreated a Fresh Unit under the same name. I killed :Antipho: 2k out of those bastards i miss clicked and i couldent chase the rest down :Trophies: ended up in a phyrric victory . damn those 5500 Thracians

Comptible with Vea victis atleast! this helped me winn an impossible battle I had 1700 wounded some cav most Spartans and cretean arcahrs Set all the traps on the right and front of the fort . I was against 5500 thracians over 1000 of them where peltasts/javalinmen The rest was shock infantry and Cav . i remember part of my general speech [he died that battle] NOT ONE STEP BACK
