In case this is the issue some other people are having remember to click install in the workshop central menu on the game's main menu. It should automatically show up in historical games after that.

Also, these don't automatically show up if you have a game going already, you need to start a new game. For existing games, you will need to load them manually using the stadium editor

Did you install it from inside the game using the steam workshop menu?

Are there instructions that go with this? I subscribed, I saw the download and the setup occur, but when I go into the game, it's still just the default OOTP stadium for all of the teams. I also can't find where the images were downloaded to. I checked OOTP/data/ballparks, not there.

For some reason, there was another HIST BP that had one of these black rectangles high up on the high-wall advertisements, I think Yankee Stadium 1938 ; not in the game right now so I forget. The good thing is: when I unsubscribed, re-subscribed, re-downloaded and re-installed all the HIST BPs from the workshop here, that rectangle was gone and replaced with a proper ad.
So, I had hoped the black rectangle would dissappear, too, with the 1931 Griffith Stadium, but it's still there in Griffith.THanks and, as always, your work with these parks is overwhelmingly appreciated.

silvam...I realized I got the details wrong because I am just a stumblebum when posting screenshots. You;re correct. I MEANT the issue is with Griffith 1931 stadium, NOT SHibe park 1931. SOrry, I will post another pic on the 3D Models/OOTP Dev forum with correct details. It's Griffith that has the black rectangle on the RCF wall, and it shows up in both the 3D edit ballpark this way AND in the game.

Dohh, these are two different parks. Griffith with the black rectangular socreboard, and Shibe.

Just loaded OOTP 25 again. In "edit ballpark, 3D ballpark" (etc), the green scoreboard shows up as it should, and once again I "save ballpark:.
But when I play my game and USE this BP, that same (scoreboard) area in RCF shows as a black rectangle at ANY camera-viewing angle during gameplay.
I've already unsubscribed and re-subscribed and took the time to re-install all the HIST BPs again. Same thing. Not sure what's going on, it could be the game itself. I've been using your great HIST BPs for YEARS with OOTP (through workshop) and rarely have these issues. Some times in the past the stands have shown up as black rectangles in some areas in some of the HIST BPs, but not for a couple of years.

Dohh, I just tested a game in that park and I do not see any black rectangles.

Silvam:I d-loaded/installed the HIST BPs from OOTP 25 Steam workshop.A couple of the BPs have large black rectangles on some OF walls.For instance:1931 Shibe.When I go into "3D/edit ballpark",this area shows as a green scoreboard, as it should.Yet when I play the game and use this BP,the scoreboard area is a large black rectangle. Again: in 3d EDIT BALLPARK, the area shows as a proper green scoreboard in this park. But it's a big black rectangle when I'm playing my game.My PC's vid cards are up to date,and I don't have issues using MOST of the hist. I simply wrote "get OOTP25 running and go to workshop". I didn't mention loading a saved game or loading a season save. THen install the BPs. I didn't think I was incorrect, so sorry if I was unclear?

dohh's instructions are incomplete. Make sure you do not LOAD your game, just go to Workshop Central at the initial startup. If you go to Workshop Central while your save it loaded, it will freeze the game. I lost a few days doing this exact thing and had to do a force close.

Simple: download these stadiums after "subscribing". THen, get OOTP25 running. Next and final step: go to "workshop" within the game, and install them. They'll show up.

why cant the folder for 3d model it says in the 3d model says cant find folder
