Not working for any of my old invictus saves... I will try using the version from nexus mods and see if that solves my problem. Everytime I try and run my old saves from the previous version of invictus I get an error message in Imperator about the save being an old version.

No, i just followed instructions and nothing happens. Same as start , text says 1.5 patch

I don´t understand, i´ve deleted workshop version and install this ( 1.7.0.3. old) but on screen, just launched game, in the notes of version appears 1.5 version!!
How can i play 1.7 version???

@Snowlet, I did though. Now I tried uninstalling the game, then deleting the documents/paradox interactive/imperator folder for good measure (backing up the saves of course), then installing the game again, running it once to create the imperator folder, then unzipping the mod there. Nope, still the same result: the mod shows with no thumbnail and the game starts without it.

@Hanako Seishin You can't have 2 versions of the same mod. Unsubscribe from the normal workshop build while using the old version.

@Snowlet, alright, I tried the nexusmods version, it shows in the launcher in the mod list (but without a thumbnail, dunno if it's indicating some trouble or not), I added it to the playset too, however when launching the game it launches vanilla Imperator, and trying to load my Invictus save just crushes the game.

@ArKaneFire 1. You can't use both Invictus and Terra Indomita at the same time, that will cause issues.
2. Yes there should be a terra indomita page on nexusmods where you'll be able to find the old version.

Hello, first of all thanks for providing support for old versions. I have an ironman file using invictus & terra indomita but I can't launch it. I downloaded the nexusmods version of invictus and used the old version of terra indomita here on steam, but it still doesn't work. Not sure if there's a nexus version of old indomita too. Is there something i can do to somehow get the save back or should I just give up on it?

@Hanako Seishin So you're using an ironman save? Then use the nexusmods version, that one has an identical name to release build so should trick the game.
I stand by what I said btw, if you asked nicely I would have responded in kind.

I know, tha'ts how I got here. But now what? My save refuses to load with this version of the mod because it considers it to be a different mod. Not helpful.

@xX|SWEGTAMSIN#YOLO420|Xx If you use the 2.0.4 beta yes but I recommend using the actual Invictus mod and not this old version.

@Hanako Seishin I'm really sorry you are not happy with the gigantic amount of effort that goes into this mod and went into the our largest bugfixing update. Realising breaking saves was not ideal, I made sure to link in Discord announcements, Steam description, Nexus description, Steam changelog and Dev Diary along with monitoring the reddit and posting messages links to the specially uploaded previous version of the mod and another reference to the nexus page you can always use for it.

I do apologise if our effort inconvenienced you.

You know, breaking people's saves is not a good incentive to get them to participate in the event.

@FFreeze @Iamavalidname Found an easy way on an old thread.

Launch the game with "-debug_mode". Get into your ironman save. The just save again. At this point you can edit your save file with a text editor.

Now go to your C: drive > Users > "Your username" > Documents > Paradox Interactive > Imperator > save game

Open it with a text editor. Change all mentions of an Iron Man mode from yes to no. And now you should be able to load the save with this mod. It worked for me.

Only issue is that the character portraits are still borked, probably because it had saved when this had already occurred.

@Snowlet Aahhh, that makes sense. My save is in Ironman so I guess I’ll have to see if an “Iron-melt” will allow me to continue. Thanks for the reply!

Was playing invictus yesterday and had no idea game would be updating with a save breaking version in the subscribed mod. Game kept crashing to desktop and only found out through these threads that an invictus update happened in the background which broke the saves in the newest version.
Can confirm all my saves are broken and will not load on 1.7.0.3 (get the in game message that the save appears to be using a different version/other mods etc).
Nexus versions of invictus also don't seem to be working for old saves.

So what do people with Iron Man saves do in case it doesn't work?

@Iamavalidname That's a paradox issue. Non ironman saves will work.

Getting the same issue as @Grippa.gaming. I hate to say that something doesn't appear to be working right.

@Grippa.gaming is this mod after invictus in the load order? If it isn't, try doing that.

My game doesn't recognise this mod as the invictus mod. How can I solve this?
