Upgrading a dyson swarm to a dyson sphere doesn't proc the requirements for the gigastructural constructs ascension perk.
Build Speed: The situtaion ticks faster but costs more as you build more in the same time.
Ex: 10% cost reduction, 50% build speed would result in a monthly tick of 1.5 progress at a cost of 1.35 (1.5*0.9) times the cost without reductions and build speed.
I will work on a giga version, but the problem with that is that a lot of the new megastructures are more annoying to implement than vanilla versions and testing is also more tedious than in vanilla. The only vanilla structures that are not well behaved are ring worlds and with the new patch dyson swarms upgrading to dyson spheres.
If not, does it just ignore it?
I wonder if there's a way to procedurally implement a situation for modded megastructures, instead of manually implementing them.
Yes each megastructure needs it's own situation and events. But if there is already a megeastructure with the same amount of stages it is pretty easy to just copy paste it and find and replace the megastructure with the new one.
