I've noticed sometimes the situations regress instead of completing. I think it might have to do with custom shipsets that change Megas design?

So I was able to get situation by removing ruined megastructure and creating it again by commmands.

I have concquered some ruined megastructures from countries but I can't get situations to repair them to appear. Is there a solution to fix that via commands?

There is some issues between this and gigastructures.

Upgrading a dyson swarm to a dyson sphere doesn't proc the requirements for the gigastructural constructs ascension perk.

And for some reason in MP we lost ability to dismantle kilostructures after they are complete:/

As I see from bot perspective, they intend to start a lot of constructions at the same time which cause their alloys to meet deficit quickly, which also cause them to pause all constructions at the same time. So it's kinda 1 month of building 3 arc furnaces and 2 dyson swarms followed by 7 months of no progress due to lack of alloys. Maybe you can make them perforn one construction at the time while considering the rest of the alloys for 2nd and more situations?

Cost reduction: The situation costs less
Build Speed: The situtaion ticks faster but costs more as you build more in the same time.
Ex: 10% cost reduction, 50% build speed would result in a monthly tick of 1.5 progress at a cost of 1.35 (1.5*0.9) times the cost without reductions and build speed.

Updated for the Machine Age.
I will work on a giga version, but the problem with that is that a lot of the new megastructures are more annoying to implement than vanilla versions and testing is also more tedious than in vanilla. The only vanilla structures that are not well behaved are ring worlds and with the new patch dyson swarms upgrading to dyson spheres.

I have just seen that it's completely incompatible with Gigastructures, lots of errors, mostly about the costs (not reduced when told to by gigastructures), build speed as far as I've seen is ok, but megastructure limit is set to vanilla instead of the one set by gigastructures, so be aware if you want to use both since you'll have to patch the mod with Irony, accept it the way it is, or choose one or the other.

I'm loving this mod, I only have a question, does it have compatibility with Gigastructure's "Job Based" megastructure build limit? The one they created that adds a new material which controls the speed at which all megastructures upgrade?

If not, does it just ignore it?

Occasionally you come across a mod that makes you go 'why doesn't it work like this in vanilla?', this is one of them.

I wonder if there's a way to procedurally implement a situation for modded megastructures, instead of manually implementing them.

Currently only works with vanilla megastructures. I am thinking making a compability patch for giga and acot, but no promises.

AI should hold construction if they don't have alloys, I added a weight modifier for that. They are also more likely to halt construction if they are in a war.

Yes each megastructure needs it's own situation and events. But if there is already a megeastructure with the same amount of stages it is pretty easy to just copy paste it and find and replace the megastructure with the new one.

This seems like a massive W, less commitment to a megastructure and less micromanaging the spam upgrade button in the late game when you have an unreasonable amount of megastructures, all with 4+ levels and then your finger starts hurting. I assume this doesn't work on modded megastructures (I'm guessing) but will still be very useful. A gigastructural patch and ACOT patch would be phenomenal if you ever have the want or the time to undergo those projects.
