Does this mod override or otherwise conflict with Fargo’s Enemy Modifiers? Wondering if I’ll have enemies doubling up on modifiers, or if there’ll simply have a larger pool of potential modifiers to draw from!

This mod is chaotic, and I like it! I used this mod with the Calamity Mod, and I fought a cloning Perferator Hive, and before I knew it, there were dozens of perferator hives floating around, shooting ichor, and relasing perferators! All in all, this mod's incredible. 10/10! :steamthumbsup:

this mod is absolutely ridiculous, and I love it all the time for how ridiculous it is! It was just the perfect amount of variety and needed challenge to spice up gameplay, so thank you for making this! I hope to see more soon if at all possible, but thank you regardless for this!

I didn't read that it doesn't work in Multiplayer. Apparently the effects are applied client-side instead of server-side, leading to one player having a splitting Eye of Cthulhu, and the rest of us very much not.

Ah that's because they are all the same base type in the game's code. I can tweak it so they spawn the same color slimes.

Ah actually yeah that sounds like it's another mod. The Unstable enemies can give any buff between Buff ID 20 and 36, which actually doesn't include any of the ones you listed.

Hi, there's a chance it's coming from somewhere else and I just can't diagnose where from I just cannot think what it would be, since I don't recall adding anything else that modifies what buffs I get. The prefixes don't show for "unstable" that I could tell, and I seem to most frequently acquire the flippers, gills, and waterwalking buffs; though I often also get hit with stuff like featherfall and gravity control and so on. It gets hard to tell what causes what after a while lol.

Hey Malcolm, you mean it's still happening when you have disabled the Unstable modifier? Are new mobs showing up as Unstable still with it disabled? It wouldn't affect any currently spawned but only ones spawned after changing the config.

Really cool mod, adds some horrific spice to early game in master mode especially lol. Though frustratingly I can't seem to disable the "random de/buff on hit" option. It's set to off but I'm still constantly getting a boat load of random buffs and debuffs whenever I engage with almost any enemy lol. I can only assume its coming from this mod too, because I think all the others that I turned off are working just fine.

Hi USSxRequin, you can disable the black hole modifier specifically so it just never appears in game, in the mod config.

The black hole modifier has killed me so many times. Unfortunately, I'll have to uninstall it since it gets a little obnoxious. The concept is awesome though, and the giant enemies are hilarious.

Right now no, it's currently not compatible with multiplayer. Each player would see randomized effects on the mobs. The exception would be if you set the configs to use the same specific set of 4 modifiers on every enemy, then it'd be fine, but that's just a small workaround for the moment.

There's an incompatibility with Ceaseless Void from Calamity mod. Any duplication modifier will make its newly duped dark energy minions intangible and make the boss stuck in invulnerable phase.

Kinda disappointed that Here comes the Chonks and the likes don't come with something like 30-40x hp to accommodate for their sizes and become minibosses on their own.

Other than that, superb mod. A simple mummy-as-a-target-practice could easily turn into entire army of pharaoh in a moment, or a trapped/explosive bat can come in and wipe out the whole group that's cornering me in an instant, or giant explosive tnt bunny appears on screen and startled the crap outta me. Loving the chaos here.

Golem when super huge crashes the tmodloader when on multiplayer, I think it also do that on singleplayer

Adding minion support and the ability to hide the names would be a pretty quick change, so I can add that next update.

Hello, I would like to give you some ideas and bugs that I found. You can make a blacklist of mobs, because monsters that climb walls change their buffs when they change position (I would exclude them so that they do not suddenly become huge and then small). It would also be cool to put the boss’s minions on this blacklist, otherwise the eyes of Cthulhu’s brain are sometimes larger than himself. In general, the blacklist is cool and vital. I would also like to hide the names of the mobs, because I don’t play with English, it will be more pleasant for me if the names of the monsters remain the same + it will add surprise to the game. :reheart:

Yes so the mod does not sync yet in multiplayer, mobs can spawn with different prefixes for each player.

For EoW, that sounds like a bug, the config should let you disable modifiers for it. However it doesn't work on existing ones, but newly spawned ones after you change the config. I will take a look.

I tried playing it on multiplayer and enemies (even without modifiers) were teleporting all the time and phasing through walls.

Overall when played on single it's fun but the config seems to be bugged for me? I can't turn off some bosses, for example Eater of Worlds couldn't be disabled even if done in main menu and when i reset the game it still gives modifiers to EoW which are really bugged, it spawns split into multiple segments already and the fight could be endless.. I fought it for 10 minutes because some parts had "cloning" modifier lol
