I figured it out. It was caused by the latest profiling performance build. It includes an upcoming optimization fix for the smoke and particles system, which gives a big performance boost for most players, who have tested it. However, it's still a bit unstable. Most missions and scenarios do work fine with it. But some just don't. Old Man is also freezing with it.

It is strange that only this causes a trouble since every mission shares same files. It would be greatly helpful if you let me know what your error log says. Does the entire game freezes when that happens?

I have a strange freezing issue, that randomly occurs only when playing this particular scenario.. I didn't check exact logs yet, but it happens with and without additional mods, but not on other missions. Anything in scripting, that could be causing it? Damn, my SQF is very rusty these days...

Thank you! It is glad to hear you enjoy it.

Disarming IEDs is possible, but you need to get really close and cautiously approach to the IED to do that. I personally just let my ai teammate do it (your squadmates all have engineer ability from the start).

So good! FInally the mission can be enjoyed to the end.
And playing with WBK Blood, Blood Effects mod, Project Dismember, Uniform Injured Textures 2, Death and Hit Reactions give a gory blast, while being performance friendly.

One problem: I cannot disarm IEDs. I have the toolkit in my inventory, the mine detector, but I don't get the disarm prompt.

** VERY Important Update!! **

I found out previous versions of DCW Redux have a critical bug. It will stop spawning civilians & enemies after some hours of playing. This bug existed from the original works by Bidass, but I haven't figured out how to solve it... until now.

The version I uploaded today will no longer have that bug. Unfortunately, previous players need to restart the mission with the updated version if they want to avoid this bug.
